Frame weight
Does anyone have a completely stripped 1 1/2 frame and a 2 frame that they could weigh for some research that Austin and I are doing?
|
Dave I may have both, I'll have to look for them, I know I use to have them but I sold five stripped frames and they may have been in that lot. I'll check tomorrow. Eric

Thanks Eric..:)

Did Francis Morin sell the two he had?

Dave, Here is a 1.5 frame GHE in the 222,000 range that was stripped for re-case. It weighs 20.7 ounces. Patrick |
Perfect! Thanks Pat...:)

Frame Weight
Patrick; Can you weigh the floorplate, cocking slide, lever mechanism and bolt? That will allow direct comparison with exposed hammer frames.
Thanks, Austin |

Those 4 pieces add 5.5 ounces. Patrick |
Pat, Thank you very much for taking the time to do this. We are half way there. Now all we need is a 2 frame set of weights.
|
So what is the weight difference between the
#1 frame and the mysterious 1/2 frame? |
