Parker AHE 20 gauge at Cabelas

They had reduced the price substantially in the last few months. I called about it this morning and it had sold. Anybody here get it?

Best,

Mike

They have had that gun for a long time. The price was reduced only 2K. I don't buy from Cabelas so it wasn't me.

Mike Shepherd 12-31-2010 04:57 PM

A several months ago they were asking about $50,000 I believe.

When it first went up for sale on the Cabela's site it sold reasonably quick, then a few weeks later it was back for sale with the note about extremely thin barrels.

Does anyone know the serial number of that gun?

Bruce Day 12-31-2010 05:28 PM

Its the one that was being auctioned at Christie's in London five years ago, Bill. Bidding was stopped and the gun was sold privately.

The AHE 20 gauge barrels that are for sale on Doublegun got me interested. I called this morning to get the serial number of the gun but no luck.

That's what it needed Mike, how often do Acme 20's become available? And how would a person know about the fit unless he had the barrels and frame in hand? It wouldn't do to cobble this one together.

They put up an A grade 20ga 2-bbl set and only posted one picture???

Mike Shepherd 12-31-2010 08:25 PM

Before they changed over to the new format there were several.

But they have five or six pictures of the Benelli Black Eagles.

I might be able to get the serial number. I'll make a call tomorrow.

Dean Romig 12-31-2010 11:52 PM

That's the one that had the stock extension isn't it?

Mike Shepherd 01-01-2011 01:08 AM

Yes, with a SSBP on the extension.

Any luck?

Would love to know if it matched the serial number of the AHE barrels for sale on the Doublegun.

Best,

Mike

The serial number is 214814. I hope this helps.

Mike Shepherd 01-03-2011 07:34 PM

The AHE barrels listed on the Doubgunshop are 213245, so no joy.

Thanks Richard!
