It belongs to a friend. I didn’t go over to the dark side.

Trust me on this one my friend the dark side doesn't start with the initials A.H. but the intials L.C. come to mind.:eek:

The shells are harder to come by than the guns themselves. I'm fortunate that my three had the shells with them.

There are several variations of the Fox Play Gun. Most have a top-lever, but some just have a stud for a barrel lug that engages a spring clip in the receiver. Top-lever above, spring clip stud below --

Some have a fixed hinge-pin and some have a spring-loaded hinge-pin which allows the gun to be taken down. The lower gun is a Fox Products Co. and it has the spring-loaded hinge-pin --

Now just need a leg-of-mutton case for one.

I should make a nice gun rack for them. I made that gun rack as a kid and it was above the head of my bed with my Super-Fox, Meat-in-the-Pot, and my sporterized 03-A3, through my high-school and college years. After I retired and moved here I narrowed it for the Fox Play Guns.

So the questions now: should the barrels be re-blued, the chambers lengthened, the stock refinished?? (And what about the chokes?!?):shock::bigbye:

I say leave the chokes alone and bore the chambers out to 3 1/2 inches....duck gun supreme...I once could have bought 2 daisey double barrel shotguns and the gun rack from daisey ....thought the price was high at 350 dollars....looking back I should have bought them.....charlie
