Hi all,
Just joined after I was pointed in this direction over a query with old 10 bore loads.
I dont have a parker but own a Thomas Bland hammer gun in 10 gauge with 2 5/8" chambers...circa 1890's

Been a browsing through and there is some good information on here, nice site.

Rocky Mountain Brass will make you brass shells to order. They made 10 ga 2 5/8" shells for me and they fit perfectly. David

Steve lives in the South West of England. They make a wonderfully strong cider there called scrumpy. Two pints (40 oz) will make you switch to double single malts to sober up. You don't know what hit you until you get off the bar stool to go to the loo...

Harry, Thanks for the lesson in English spirits...Kinda reminds me of my co-workers homemade Polish brandy....Whew..:rolleyes:

cant beat a good bit of scrumpy....my tipple at the minute is Westons special reserve at 8.2%....dont need many of them before the legs develop a wobble.

Oh and thanks for the link for some brass cases....just need to find a load to go in them now.

The inside diameter of RMC brass is the same as a plastic hull and they use a standard 209 primer. We have low pressure 10 gauge load data. I use IMR 4756 for 1 1/4 oz loads with Remington SP-10 wads and Winchester 209 primers. Are those components available to you?

Just searching my local supplier, not got it in.
Powders here seem to be collect only so looks like I am in for a drive unless i get some similar data.
I have got a load from gamebore going back some years, I just have to sort out the equivalents in todays powders and primers.

Be very careful. A change in primer can lead to a jump in pressure by 2,000 psi or better.

As you probably know, Markethunter and several others of us are big ten gauge fans.

Nah!!!!!!---I use my 8ga.36" for 50yd. shooting and my 40 1/2" for the long shots.
