VHE 16...203xxx range...double ivory...32"... F/XF..This gun came from California. It was missing safety, and had a nicely done piece in the slot...Safety was replaced..Dreaded WhiteLine pad hard as a rock... The gun had been used, but not abused. Book show 3 identical guns..consecutive numbers... Breck did the barrels..and I did the wood with Timberluxe..Book says only 216 in this configuration...J..

shes a beauty for sure wish she could tell us about her hunting experiances..charlie

Jerry VanHorn 02-27-2020 06:13 PM

Dave in California replaced the safety. All the parts were missing..so it was originally a factory safety..

Nice. A favorite of mine, speaking of a 32" 16 that is. May we assume a 1 frame ?

CraigThompson 02-28-2020 01:45 AM

Very nice I’d be pleased if it were in my accumulation ! I’ve got VH 16’s that are 26 , 28 and 30 so the natural progression would be 32 and or 24

Jerry VanHorn 02-28-2020 08:57 AM

It is a 1 frame..I had a GH 16...O frame..32" damascus that was a jewel..Got talked out of it..!

That had to be a very slick talker with a wad of cash?

Jerry VanHorn 02-28-2020 10:54 AM

He had more cash than talk..That gun ,and a few more, bought most of the 22 acres next to my farm when it became available..I wanted control of the land worse than the guns sitting in the safe. Priorities ?...

ive read 32" 16s are rare , theres one on GI kind of cheap but the seller says the barrel wall thickness has become too thin . A shame for such a unique Parkers .

Jerry VanHorn 02-28-2020 01:33 PM

I know that gun. It's a straight grip...and the right barrel is shot out. Cheaper than Dirt had a 32"..another straight grip. I heard it sold for $3500. It was really nice..As I said..TPS says only 216 made.

Milton C Starr 02-28-2020 01:39 PM

Yep thats the one its listed as $2200 , but the only way I know of fixing that would be to sleeve it which is a whole nother thing unto itself .

There was a thread on here awhile back about 32" 16 ga Parkers .

Mills Morrison 02-28-2020 02:33 PM

That one has been on there a while.

Jerry VanHorn 02-28-2020 03:01 PM

I just looked..The gun is sold..It was a safety delete. He told me last year that 2K was bottom $$$...

Sounds like alot for a wall hanger.

That would be a "no sale" unless the buyer has a replacement #1 frame barrel set. I displayed my GHE Damascus 0 frame 16 gauge, 24", 28", and 30" three barrel set at the Southern a few years ago. Hardly anyone gave it a look. I guess that's the price we pay for hanging out with the A-1 Special crowd.

a spare set of 32" 16 ga barrels would probably be hard to come by I would think ?

Bill Murphy 03-01-2020 06:41 PM

Happens. Ask me for examples. Of course, any #1 barrel set would be better than none.
