We was walking the creek I was carring my 10 for phezents Jett was carring his 270 for deer we ran across this deer. Jett got him with a 100 gr. sp. I used my tag on him so we a still looking for a turdypointer:) chAttachment 5985

That is a nice buck Jett shot. Is it his first? The 100 grain bullet sure takes the kick out of a 270. I shot a lot of groundhogs with the Sierra 90 gr pushed by 50 grains of 4064. It would reach way out there. Harry |

My son's first deer was a little doe so we cooked it whole on a spit and fed the whole camp.

Harry, He shot a doe last year. Mine were 51 grs. 4320 I got an auto rem so its a blast 2 shoot the gun don't like that load to good though i'm going to give a complete cleaning befor i give up on it and its flating the primers a little also and its not a max load. bet thoes 90's done a job on those ground hogs Craig told me some stories on shooting them we don't have em out here.
Jent, Yes i did and i been scratching my head on how in the world he knew i likes classic doubles very nice calender going to send to some friends when i figure out how to send with out getting destroyed.
