Fishing on the Davidson River
 

Annual tradition. My son Mills really took to it this year. He hooked several by himself including a big Rainbow trout

Some would call that rasing them right. I remember when my son was in school in Va. hiring a guide and us fishing the James River for smallmouth. As normal he outfished me.

Nice job Mills that brings memories back I fished there as a kid/teen.

Mills, great pictures. The Davidson is a storied trout stream. Here's a picture of my youngest daughter, Parker, with her first catch on a fly rod. This is on the Tuckasseegee River. About an hour west of the Davidson.
