Thats a "Swamp Lord"!
An oddity for sure!
I never knew they made howitzers....:whistle:
. |
My snow goose hunting buddies would crap a brick if I had this gun for our spring hunt in Missouri ...:rotf:
Jim, I also have that gun on my watch list. I wonder if it came out of the factory with those barrels?
Bill, a closer examination of the small picture shows, what I believe to be a sleeve or monobloc line leading me to believe they were made by someone for someone and at that specific length. Gun probably weight 12-14 lb range maybe more.
...or, at 43 1/4" someone could have cut the barrels to open the chokes. I'm just sayin'...
Less tha 3DAYS LEFT and at $350.00 next bid is $375.00
Pull that thing up in Jersey and shoot geese in Delaware!
The Richland sold for $480 plus the juice. I would have bought it, sleeved or not. It may have been a professional job at great cost.
$480 plus shipping, not bad, unless it turns out it the chokes were opened to cylinder for woodcock hunting. :rotf:
