Spin Wheel Fashions

I received as a Christmas gift from my wife a PGCA button down shirt, a hat and a logo patch! I just want to say how great they look. Spin Wheel Fashions deserves recognition for the quality work they do. The shirt is a dark or forest green and the logo looks outstanding.

They are great to work with.

Yep, and they're just downright nice folks to.

Mike McKinney 12-31-2018 09:59 PM

Yes, they are very nice and good folks. Generally they handle all the wearables for our Parker Store. They give us a check at the Southern each year that represents some portion of the sales of Parker logged items and I believe they also handle the L.C. Smith group in the same way. Both of our organizations are fortunate to have them represent us. My experience is that they sell quality products to boot.

Where is the Parker Store?

Kenneth V Jones 01-01-2019 06:12 AM

As you can see, Big D was not aware which is why I posted this thread. I wanted to boost em a little.

On the main page (www.parkerguns.org), click on one of the link on the left side of the page..... PGCA Store

edgarspencer 01-01-2019 10:29 AM

Are the 2015 raffle tickets still available?

Bill Murphy 01-01-2019 10:40 AM

Yes, and they are sold at a reduced price. Spin Wheel are my neighbors up the road a short piece from my house. We see them at the Southern, the March L.C. Smith shoot and other events.

Kenneth V Jones 01-01-2019 11:45 AM

Bill,
Will all events be posted on the calendar so we can plan?

Robin and Ken, I have no idea why schedule and other time relevant situations are not addressed and kept up to date on our site. I try to inject corrections as I see them, but you are on your own on planning your shooting and double gun event schedules for the year. The Southern is very important, as is the Vintage Cup at Ernie H's in PA, all others less important, but you can only rely on your own research to locate them.

Because it takes time and effort to do it. It's not easy to remember where every "time sensitive" reference is and adjust it so they don't go out of date. A best effort is made and as I find them, I am trying to make them as generic as I can. The fact that one can be 3 years outdated leads me to believe nobody reads the pages anyway, or it would have been noticed long ago?

Kenneth V Jones 01-01-2019 07:10 PM

Thanks,
I went to a couple last summer. If we find info can we post it? I've seen on the Ruffed Grouse Society a few sporting clay shoots last year and participated. I would put them on.
I'm not complaining, I'm a helper.

Bill Murphy 01-02-2019 10:05 AM

I also wish to be a helper and am a helper. However, as Robin's reply indicates, "noticing" an error and attempting to correct it sometimes result in a reply like his. "Because it takes time and effort to do it." I would rather see a reply like, "Thanks for letting us know. We'll delete the error and try to enter the correct information." No one addressing a three year old error does not have anything to do with lack of interest. It has everything to do with the reaction the person may get in return. I hope no one will think my post is in a negative vein. It is not. Happy New Year.

Calendar Protocol

So if I am understanding the info pertaining to the calendar PGCA members are free to use it to advertise events such as shoots, shows, gatherings etc.
Is that correct ? Meaning the member can input the info and there is no moderator or whomever to go through for approval ? If so I will add the Hoosier SxS Classic scheduled for August or request it through the channels.

Kenneth V Jones 01-02-2019 10:56 AM

Randy, I was thinking of yours too.

Randy G Roberts 01-02-2019 11:07 AM

I will add it as soon as I get some protocol guidance Kenneth.

Randy G Roberts 01-02-2019 11:09 AM

Oh yeah, nice shirt BTW, and nice Parker to !!

Kenneth V Jones 01-02-2019 11:26 AM

Thanks! Its a Trojan 20 gauge 28" 2-1/2" chambers I just acquired last month.

Mills Morrison 01-02-2019 11:52 AM

Yes, it is a very classy picture. My personal favorite Parker happens to be a Trojan 20 gauge too.

Yes, if you know of a shoot, auction, show,.... any event that may be of interest to members here, by all means post it to the calendar. I have made posts in the past and as far as I know there isn't an official moderator but I expect that if it were to get out of hand a forum moderator would speak up.

Thank you Robin. I will try to get it posted tomorrow most likely.

Kenneth V Jones 01-02-2019 08:33 PM

Randy,
The Hoosier SxS Classic hat would have made the shirt look better. If you have to pre order a hat make sure to include that in the flyer!

Kenny

Randy G Roberts 01-02-2019 08:46 PM

The hats were included and they were a big hit. I plan on doing the same thing this year as well. I thought everyone got a hat but I had 4 or so left over and I can't identify the folks left out. I have hopes of being better organized this year, we'll see.:corn:

Kenneth V Jones 01-02-2019 09:06 PM

I hope I can make it and it don't rain.

Thomas L. Benson Sr. 01-26-2019 01:11 PM

Back to the PGCA Store. How do I look at the merchandise that they have to offer. It says other ball caps available but can't find them. need assistance to locate fotos. Thanks Thomas

Kenneth V Jones 01-26-2019 04:52 PM

Thomas,
The best thing to do is call the number and talk to the lady there. She is very helpful. She can get you just about anything, but I found that things I got were quality. I don't think she has a hat like the one on your avatar but you could ask!

Mills Morrison 01-26-2019 05:08 PM

Cathy is great. Just call her
