Ejectors
If you needed work done on ejectors, who would you send your Parker to?
|
This is the ejector on an SC SBT.

when I needed ejector parts I called DelGrego. They have the parts but will not sell them. They will only provide them if they fix your gun. This was years ago but I think this is still their policy.

Further to Patrick's comment; why should they sell the parts. They are original Parker (Illion) manufactured parts and there won't be any more. Delgrego is in the repair and restoration business, and he's certainly not going to put himself out of business.
I knew Stosh was going to say Abe Chaber, and I have never heard a negative comment about the guy. I guess (touch wood) I've been lucky not to have needed him, and I'd like to just meet him some day. He's practically in my back yard. |
John I have heard good things about Bill Schwartz in Ellijay GA. He has never done any work for me personally but I have heard a lot of positive things about his work. He would be closer to home for you.

Well, what is the answer to the original question? I reread the entire thread and didn't remember reading an answer.

If you need parts replaced then send it to DelGrego. He has the parts and can fix/replace the ejectors. Other gunsmiths may have used parts or are fabricating their own. I would go with the original parts guy and pay him to fix them as he has lots of practice. Bill already knew all this he is just playing dense.:O)
