DH Titanic 20ga/26" 0 frame. 158xxx era great well cut engraving and about the best wood I have ever seen on the DH. The first time I pulled the trigger I killed a green head!
Since Dean bought a small bore Fox I figured it was duty the buy a Parker small bore.

Beautiful Parker Craig!

Thats an absolutly beautiful gun. Congratulations. As for Dean, I'll bet that boy has off brand guns other than his Fox. I don't believe he is a purist. But it dosen't really matter. He is a great guy who does a lot for all of us with his work on Parker Pages. I can forgive his discretions.

Tom Flanigan 11-30-2018 12:51 PM

Meant indescretions in my pror post. My hand gets shaky when I think Dean with doubles other than Parkers.

You had to have looked long and hard to find one in such wonderful condition. Colors just the way you like to see them. Congratulations.

Mills Morrison 11-30-2018 03:02 PM

I put in a bid on the GH 20 in the Rock Island auction, but got outbid. It is a nice one. I want some more small bores

Randy G Roberts 11-30-2018 03:18 PM

Daryl Corona 11-30-2018 07:52 PM

Fantastic gun Craig and it obviously works great for you.

Did anyone notice the title of Craig's post: "My first Parker 20 gauge".

Craig, I like your style.

Actually, regarding shotguns, the Fox and a Stevens 20 ga. Pump (knockoff of a 37) that I bought when I was a junior in high school, are the only non-Parkers that I own. I had a Ruger Red Label 20 that I sold in order to buy my first Parker.

Great wood and case colors. That's pretty close to what the gun looked like new. Notice the absence of straw and splotchy colors, usually a dead give away that a gun has been recase colored. Congratulations Craig!

Tom Flanigan 12-01-2018 11:32 AM

I noticed it and that is a hell of a first 20 bore. That is one great gun. Just out of curiosity, what loads were you using Craig? How is the gun bored?

You're stepping out onto a slippery slope, Craig. One begets another, and on it goes.
