If you are looking at a lot of guns, it is the best thing that $35.00 can buy.

Frankly, if you own a Parker, you should also own this book. Along with both volumes of The Parker Story. |

Great! Looks like a great x-mas gift idea. Won't help me in my current situation but probably won't matter as this one is going back I think.....

What # do you want info on?
|
#152581
I assume it won't list with a Browning Superposed butt plate and 30 3/16" barrels..... |

According to the research letter check feature from the home page, the PGCA does have information on serial number 152581. There were two sets of Parker Bros. "books", stock books and order books. Parker Gun Identification & Serialization was produced from the information in one of those sets of books, but the PGCA has information from both sets for doing research letters. Join the PGCA and get a letter for $40.

No problem, I picked this up off of GI and it was listed as:
Title: Parker - V Grade, 12ga. Description: Parker - V Grade, 12ga., 30", choked M/F, splinter forend, capped pistol grip stock, extractor, butt plate, traces of case coloring, strong barrel bluing and wood finish, double trigger, 152,xxx, wood has typical handling marks, original unrestored gun. I am in the market for a turkey gun and this fit the bill. I was floored when I unpacked it to find a Browning butt plate and cut barrels. I contacted the seller (a very well known and reputable company) and of course they have a 3 day inspection policy which is fine but I feel I should not be responsible for return shipping on something that was so mis-represented. Especially from a company that should know better. I was told they have no policy for reimbursing shipping. |
I would tell them that you have no policy prohibiting you from disclosing their name, either
