Please Help Me Welcome....
Please take a moment and help me welcome some New and Renewed PGCA Members..!
The folks in the list below either joined our organization or renewed their Membership on-line. To these folks: Asa Kelly Simply - THANK YOU!!! - for your support of this fine organization! As well, as others join and renew who are registered to the PGCA Forum - I'll add their names as well... John |
A hearty welcome to you gentlemen!
Now, please tell us how slick and easy it is to join or renew online. Dean |
Welcome
What Dean said: Me too. Tom
|
And I just added another to the list above...
On behalf of PGCA - many thanks!! John |
Welcome to all our new and renewed members! I just want to thank all the guy's and gal that put this online membership deal together. Great great job folks!....
|
Aww - thanks Dave.. It's been a team effort to make all this happen. Sort of like a squad shooting Sporting Clays - everyone has a "good station" which brings the score up for the entire team. And different folks shine on different stations...
John |
And I just added Mike Wilkerson..
Mike - simply - thank you! John |
To all who are wondering it was the fastest and best $40 bucks I've ever spent. There was none of this involved :banghead:. :)
Mike |
Thanks guys! It was very easy to pay for membership on-line and it helps us procrastinators that have problems mailing in the check. :)
Now how about doing the same for Parker letters? Ken |
Just how secure is this? I have never put a crdt card number on line. I'd rather get the bill in the mail and send a check. Call me old fashioned but I do shoot 100+ year old guns and I can barley work this computer:rotf:
|
Hey Rich!
It's danged secure and last time I checked, PayPal processes about $4Billion in transactions per month and if their secure technology were deemed insecure, we'd prolly found out by now? Anyway, for folks like yourself who'd rather send in a check, you bet you can do it that way! Btw - you going to MD later this month??? Hope to catch up with you there (and bring some cookies, ok? ;) ) Best to you! John |
John...you sure you wanna do that? Andersons a pretty cranky ol coot....:biglaugh:
|
Hey Rich.... it's 2010.... time marches on, catch up will ya?!? :knowbetter:
|
Cookies? HAH!! He don't have none left! He ate 'em all on the way back home to Michigun last time.
Of course, if he was to bring some 'trade goods' (like a case of JD) somebody might consider tradin a bag of cookies for it  |
And, not to bring this topic back on topic :D

And this morning.... Hi Travis Newman and Thank you!! :)
John |
It's great to see this new program working so well. John, do you have a count of how many have joined or renewed so far by this completely trouble-free and convenient on-line method?
|
Hi Dean and all...
First of all - many thanks! Yes, it's been a wonderful success and there is more coming to add more "web value" to those who are members, so stay tuned, ok? As well, I try to keep the first post in this thread updated with the names of the new/renewed members who use the on-line membership links. For that, and in addition, Jennifer is tracking the members who join via USPS and she does a wonderful job. So, in total over the past two weeks alone since announcing on-line and for those who have sent in checks - I believe we are now over 80 new and renewed PGCA Members. It's a strong message about all PGCA is and will be in the future. But that's not to my credit, but rather to the credit of each and every current PGCA member. My best always, John |
And to Scott Hanes....
Thank you..!!! Your Member title is all set - and with our appreciation! John |
John, are you tracking renewals seperate from new registrations on those who have done so online?
|
Hi Dean..
HUH???? What did you say??? I track on-line Memberships - both NEW members and RENEWED Members? Both are equally welcomed. Is that what you are asking? John |
No John, I know you welcome everyone who joins or renews (you're that kind of guy - friendly, warm and sincere) I was just curious how many new members have signed on here vs. the number of renewals using this new feature. I don't think it will tell us anything - I'm just curious about the numbers split.
|
Hey Dean and all..!
Awww - I see what you mean..! Right now, it's about 80-85% are renewed vs. 15-20% new (as a SWAG).. I suspect that will change in the next few months, though - becoming about a 60%-40% (renewal - new) mix... For mail in memberships - it's about the same right now as the on-line ratio... Best to you! John |
Exactly! Thanks John, that's what I meant. Sorry I wasn't clear at first.
Dean |
And to Craig Reynolds - thank you!!
 John |
And Mark (you know who you are ;) ) - thanks my friend for your continued support!
John |
Hi Jerry Manion..!
Thank you so much for your support of PGCA! My Best Always, John |
And - I know the system works.. Even Rich Anderson (an old guy who shoots old guns :D ) got it to work..!! Rich - welcome back (not that you really left - but - well, you know.. ;) )...
