Not mine and do not know the seller nor do I know the story. Book lists as D2 so there may be more barrels somewhere. One owner.

Well - the email addy shows a sense of humor

16 ga.

Straight grip, single trigger, beavertail.........that is not an easy combination to find ??? M

Check out the case colors. Methinks...not original.

Brian Dudley 03-19-2018 07:29 PM

Geeze... could he have worse photos?

Yes, the colors are not original.

Chris Travinski 03-19-2018 08:35 PM

I'd roll the dice on that bad Larry, bet it's a factory skeet gun.

Just what I was thinking. The horrible picture of the trigger looks like Miller. Stock looks Remington, and they could be Remington colors. Someone should eyeball it. I don't think he likes Hilliary.

Bill Murphy 03-20-2018 10:28 AM

Not a skeet gun, not original Remington colors, not original Parker colors, not an original trigger, and it's in Georgia. I would drive a way to see it, but not from Maryland. D2 does not mean extra barrels. D2 means it's a Grade 2, a G Grade, and the 2 in the "extras" column means it has ejectors, so it's a GHE Damascus gun. Apparently the gun was originally a Damascus gun and rebarrelled, maybe at PB or Remington or maybe neither, but he didn't post any pictures that would help us.

It is close to me but I thought skeet guns were higher serial numbers? Bobby

Gerald McPherson 03-20-2018 10:58 AM

Right Bill. D2 -Damascus G grade. It now has special steel barrels so where are the damascus barrels? Bobby if it was north of Atlanta I would go take a look. I am thinking a Remington re do. Does the fore end look right?

Robert Brooks 03-20-2018 12:08 PM

Colors look like DelGrego and probably restocked by him. Bobby

Craig Budgeon 03-20-2018 03:02 PM

I think I would call first before driving to Georgia. Not many skeet guns made in 16 GA. in 1925, non selective Miller single trigger, and the addition of a Sunburst pad are questions I would have about the gun in addition to the new finishes on the gun. The pictures are of little help since they contain more shadows than an outhouse at night and the photographer failed to clean the lens or focus their smart phone.

Am I not seeing a selector between the front of the trigger and the trigger guard? My eyes aren't great, and the pictures aren't either, but my glasses are clean.

Craig Budgeon 03-20-2018 11:03 PM

Edgar I still don,t see a selector, but since I have no interest in the gun anyway,it matters little to me. I guess if a forum member is interested in the gun they will let us know if the trigger is selective or not.

Eric Eis 03-21-2018 06:06 AM

Could be an early Miller trigger with the selector switch up on the tang safety.
