The truck is a 1945 model, yes, I said 1945. It's one of 18,000 made by Ford after the war ended in August of 45. It belonged to my In-Laws and was used as a shop truck for many years. It made many trips 100 miles to deer camp driven by my mother-in-law. It sat in a field from about 1968 until my mother-in-law gave it to me about 1998. I spent four years restoring it.

Wish I had a Parker box to display with it. Maybe I'll just put a couple of my Parkers in a picture with it someday.

Had to bring this back up to wish all of you a most merry Christmas and a safe and prosperous new year.

Merry Christmas to all! We have about 5 inches of snow in Gatlinburg, a lot up high. The wife will be hunting griz today!

good luck on the grizz....no snow in north miss..but fairly cool about 40 degrees and pretty stiff winds....just setting by the heater enjoying the day....charlie
