121 years old 1 Attachment(s) I wonder if it’s original owner ever imagined 121 years later it’d still be dropping birds? |

Nice, healthy looking bird. And I like your Parker! |

We're but keepers of these classic American doubles for the future generation... Wonderful picture. Good to be alive during the Fall! |
|
i ll grant you that the first owner never thought that 121 years later the gun would still look as good as it does now...wish one of my old 8 ga s looked that good..some of our guns were took better care of than others....charlie |

And we can also wonder in that gun's 121 years how many times it had put woodcock on it's owners' tables... . |

I have a 121 year old GH 12ga. 1896 ser.#84xxx, that still puts down a bird now and then. Mine is a little more faded, but overall in great shape. |

Woodcock are such cool little birds |
|
It's not exactly an ideal upland gun being a 2 frame GH with 30" barrels choked FULL/FULL, but I seem to do halfway decent with the 7 1/2 RST spreaders. |
|
And now that picture has become the new Home Page Picture! Congratulations! and thanks to John Dunkle! . |
|
not exactly ideal, seems like kind of an understatement. More of a turkey gun |
