Hello Parker friends, I hope everyone is having a great spring. About 4 months ago I got a lead on this gun from Chris Dawe. The owner received it from his father and had never shot it. He was close to 80 and always remembered it being in the house when he was young. The initial description had me skeptical since the owner indicated it was in high condition. The gun is a 12 gauge top lever with 28" barrels and was true to the description from the owner. The chambers measure 2 5/8" and chokes 0.032/0.032. It is exciting to find a gun such as this that had not seen the light of day in 40+ years and not fired in over 50. I will get a letter on the way and let you know if it yields anything exciting.

Have a great day everyone.

No flying turnips there--game scenes as nice as guns a grade or two higher, IMHO.

A very nice and usable lightweight upland 12. Great to have a gun of this vintage that is near new and not abused or neglected. I have a G much like like it, guns in this condition are prized. Congratulations.

"high condition" is a bit of an understatement. Great find.

Guess I'll be getting another letter request:bowdown:

I had first crack at this and couldn't come up with a good enough excuse for the wife;) ...so naturally I thought of Brian ,I'm so glad he got it - was a difficult deal to make and I was so happy it all worked out in the end ....I've waited and waited to find a good Parker hammer gun up here and this one came along at a poor time ,but it couldn't have gone to a better place .

When I first seen the gun I was over the moon for Brian ,pics don't do it justice

I really like guns with the flower on the rib. Beautiful engraving.
