todd allen 03-16-2017 02:48 PM

Well, at least now we know what a 16 gauge Trojan sells for.

It has to actually sell first.

I guess my humor was a little too subtle.

Daniel G Rainey 03-16-2017 04:13 PM

no, you were right the seller is asking not getting

That guy has me "Jones'n" for one of those ultralight "1" frame small bores!!!

Dean Romig 03-16-2017 08:22 PM

Can't argue with it being one very nice Trojan 16 though.

Too the practiced eye, does the wall thickness at the breech end look a little thick for a 1 frame 16?

Michael Moffa 03-17-2017 02:57 PM

I forgot to annotate the image, those are 20ga 0 and 2 frame for reference. I didn't have a 16 1 frame breech handy but the Trojan seems to lean more towards the 2 frame twenty in wall thickness.

George Lander 03-23-2017 11:03 PM

WOW! This George really treasures his guns IMHO!

charlie cleveland 03-24-2017 09:03 PM

mighty thick barrels on that 20 ga bet she weighs 7 1/2 to 8 lbs...charlie

Bill Murphy 03-25-2017 10:12 AM

I have owned two 32" #2 frame 20s and they both weighed right at 8 pounds. However, my 28" #3 frame 16 weighs about 9 pounds.

Richard Flanders 03-25-2017 10:25 AM

Well, thankfully no one ever sanded off all the "original laquer" finish...!

Daniel G Rainey 03-25-2017 10:47 AM

Does the thickness at the breech have anything to do with the length of the barrels?

charlie cleveland 03-25-2017 04:32 PM

the 2 frame appears that it mite have ejectors...charlie

Michael Moffa 03-25-2017 05:34 PM

The 2 frame does have ejectors and it is a GHE 30" Prince of Wales.

Michael Moffa 03-25-2017 05:37 PM

But the 0 frame 20 with 30" Dam 4 tubes is a magic wand. I gave it to my special snowflake for turning 21.
