Charlie,

Take some of those irons out of the fire and let the younger generation do all that heavy work you do. Get some rest and get better quickly.

edgarspencer 10-19-2016 03:45 PM

Do what the Doctor's tell you to do. DON'T do what they tell you NOT to do. You'll be back bustin' sod before you know it. We'll be pulling for you.

Daniel Carter 10-19-2016 03:49 PM

Will keep you in my thought's and prayers. I always look forward to your posts. The Dr's can do some great things today. Get well soon.

Charlie, you are a tough old goat and don't forget it! Just take some time off and keep your mind busy thinking about Parkers and hunting. You'll be back up to snuff sooner than anyone thinks. And please keep posting!

bob weeman 10-19-2016 05:19 PM

I hope you are feeling better Charlie. You are a hard worker. Put that work ethic into your recovery and do the things needed and you will be the better for it. Greatly enjoy your post Charlie. Wishing you well and a speedy recovery.

Charlie, get well soon and do as the Drs. say. We will light candles at mass for you as we do for all our friends in need of some divine intervention. As much as you love hunting and the outdoors, you're much too young to go to the happy hunting grounds if you get my drift. Feel better my friend.

Christian Gish 10-19-2016 07:32 PM

Charlie, walk everyday if you can and Drs. allow it. I had bypass 20+ years ago and am 81 now. You can do it!

Brian Dudley 10-19-2016 07:44 PM

Take it easy Charlie. Best wishes for your recovery.

Gary Laudermilch 10-19-2016 08:56 PM

Your posts are the highlight of this forum. Get well soon.

Tom Jay 10-19-2016 09:32 PM

Don't know you Charlie, but I'm 61 and had a triple bypass on May 6th of this year. What I can say is doctors work wonders today. I was up and about the day after surgery and back home on day 5. Take your meds, do the cardiac rehab, walk a lot and listen to what the nurses say. You'll be fine. Good luck.

Eldon Goddard 10-19-2016 09:45 PM

Charlie you are a real american hero and I always love reading your posts and talking about 8 gauges. I hope you a speedy recovery.

Bill Holcombe 10-19-2016 10:24 PM

John Cinkoske 10-20-2016 05:51 AM

Please get well soon Charlie, I always look forward to your posts and comments. Like others said, follow your Dr's advice. Hang in there!
All my best, John C.

Angel Cruz 10-20-2016 06:28 AM

Take care Charlie. Kind of boring around here when you don't post.

Alfred Greeson 10-20-2016 12:19 PM

Get well soon! We need your knowledge on this forum, not many of you big bore Parker guys around to tell us how an 8 bore will really do the job, I always look forward to your comments. God Bless and get strong soon, the leaves are turning and you need to be out in the woods!

Frank Cronin 10-20-2016 01:50 PM

Get well soon Charlie. You'll be posting the results how many steps and hits on those Dr Pepper cans in no time....

Destry L. Hoffard 10-20-2016 01:54 PM

Sip a little bourbon, pull a chair up by the window, and pull out some reading. You'll be straight as a string in no time at all.

Destry

ForrestArmstrong 10-20-2016 06:08 PM

Sorry to read of your predicament Charlie. Do what the doctors tell you and get well soon. I've always enjoyed reading your posts.

Bill Murphy 10-20-2016 06:33 PM

I've been sitting down for a few years now. Give it a try. It isn't so bad as long as you have the computer and a bunch of books. I may be within a few months of standing up and doing some work, but don't you hurry. Like you, I am still buying a gun here and there, but won't be able to shoot them for a while. Take your time. Your friend, Bill Murphy on the Western Shore of the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland.
