Not yet my friends. It's still winter here in New England... but the sap's running and the signs are good.

George M. Purtill 02-24-2016 11:01 PM

And before you know it we'll be shooting at Dave Suponski's fun shoot at Addieville. I can't wait.

Bill Murphy 02-25-2016 11:00 AM

As I posted when the last PP was mailed, "Where in the heck is my issue? Here it is, February 24, and I have not gotten my PP. Please explain." Thanks for your attention to my inquiry.

Dean Romig 02-25-2016 11:16 AM

Hi Bill.... PM sent.

.

Dave Suponski 02-25-2016 12:04 PM

Bill , I think they were waiting for your pictures.

Bill Murphy 02-25-2016 12:21 PM

You mean the PO can't deliver "next day"? What is this country coming to?

Jean Swanson 02-25-2016 12:45 PM

Recognize the house and barn, near East Andover, NH on Route 11

Dean Romig 02-25-2016 01:44 PM

You're exactly right Allan. It's a beautiful place in its simplicity.

Based on the present "so called" administration in the White House I would say it's going to the DOGS . :cuss:

George M. Purtill 02-27-2016 07:48 AM

Where the He-- is my PP?

Dean Romig 02-27-2016 07:54 AM

You can stop by here any time George and I'll give you your complimentary contributor's copies.

.

George M. Purtill 02-27-2016 08:20 AM

Bring them to Addieville this morning. I am shooting with Mr. Pinsley. It looks to be a beautiful New England day.

HAS ANYONE GOTTEN THEIR PP YET???

Jeff Kuss 02-27-2016 08:39 AM

Mine came yesterday.

George M. Purtill 02-27-2016 08:46 AM

Well it makes sense that the moderators and directors get their copies first.....

Jeff Kuss 02-27-2016 08:52 AM

One of the perks! LOL

Dean Romig 02-27-2016 08:52 AM

Don't start... :knowbetter:

Once again - they all go to the post office on the same pallet.

.

Gary Carmichael Sr 02-27-2016 09:52 AM

Dean, Now you know it takes more than one week, after all they are either going pony express for local stuff or by stagecoach for the far outlanders, Gary

Buddy Marson 02-27-2016 10:54 AM

Geroge, maybe you should run for a directors position. Something to think about.
All the best,
Buddy

Henry McRoberts 02-27-2016 11:29 AM

Mine made it all the way up here to the UP of Michigan yesterday. Must have come by dog sled.

I'm looking at my two English setters and no they have not delivered my PP both are culled up in the chairs :banghead: :)

Rick Losey 02-27-2016 12:28 PM

True enough

My setters would consider that menial labor, and beneath their station

The golden puppy however would deliver most of it to hand

Mike Koneski 02-27-2016 12:49 PM

Our Setters didn't deliver mine either. Indians must have ambushed the sled in NY??

Mills Morrison 02-27-2016 02:00 PM

Ours came today

Tom Pellegrini 02-27-2016 03:39 PM

I didn't receive my PP yet, but Tuesday afternoon I put ina request for a letter for a "GH" I just obtained, and the letter came today. Multi Kudos to Chuck Bishop again. I don't get treated this good at home.

Robert Rambler 02-27-2016 04:00 PM

The Pony Rider just headed back down the trail a few moments ago, inside the leather satchel he left was my Parker Pages. Looks to be a fine Sunday afternoon read when combined with a glass of Knob Creek Kentucky Bourbon. :)

Rick Losey 02-27-2016 05:45 PM

its here in upstate NY

Mike - you need an in- the Grandfathers would not stop mine.

Buddy- I have seen how much work Directors do. I will settle for slow delivery!!!

George M. Purtill 02-27-2016 07:07 PM

OK I will shut up- my wife just handed me mine along with 3 electric bills for the farm. She has no idea of the value of PP.

Anyway I ripped open the protective sleeve , skimmed it and have partially made my priority list.
Craig Larter you duck nut- I am reading about your Marsh first.
Then I'm gonna let Brian Dudley try and educate me.. good luck with that Brian.
Next a Chicken Coop Parker- just looking at the pictures made me inspired to finish two 10 gauge Parkers that are disassembled in my gun room.

God isn't the arrival of PP a blessed event?
Thanks to Dean-o.

George M. Purtill 02-28-2016 09:14 AM

Craig Larter- nice article. I like the touch of using the old poster and vintage photos.

Bob Roberts 03-01-2016 05:04 PM

one of the best ever

My PP arrived yesterday and as an occasional contributor I vote it one of the best ever.

I agree Bob. It is a great issue with variety- history, technology, reminiscing and news. My ONLY complaint is that we need more color and that's not Dean's fault nor does he have any say. It's budget related.
I would gladly pay a little more in dues and have more color pictures.

Jack Kuzepski 03-01-2016 06:34 PM

Just got mine yesterday and only skimmed it. Haven't had much of a chance to do much else but am relishing the time that I can thoughtfully digest it. It does look good!

every body really done a fine job on all these stories as usual.i stayed up late reading these was hard to get up this morning when the clock went off...charlie

Alfred Greeson 03-02-2016 12:16 AM

Shooting Sportsman, Sporting Classics, Double Gun Journal, and others; all are good but no comparison to reading Parker Pages. If it was larger, I probably would have an even bigger problem with my obsession with Parkers on the home front. Just a great publication that is much enjoyed and appreciated. Thanks for a really excellent publication and for all who make it possible for us. Much appreciated.

Dean Romig 03-02-2016 12:47 AM

You're very kind Mr. Greeson. Thank You.

wouldn't you love to be able to track some things
I had something mailed from Maine to upstate NY with tracking once, I followed it across the mid-south - then to the western plains and eventually to California - where it sat

I called the shipper - they said they would send a replacement and recall the lost package

a week or so later - both packages arrived on the same day
