2016 Northern SxS Challenge and Expo at RMSC

Here we go ladies and gents!! It's the middle of February, but it's never too early to get the info out. Save the dates for the 2016 Northern SxS Challenge and Expo!! There will be plenty of exciting AHFCA and PGCA events going on. This is going to be a great 4 days of shotgun fun!! More info to follow.

Maybe that "Parker Gun Bus" will fill up and make the trip to NE PA?

We thank our friends at Shooting Sportsman for the great "Save the Date" ad they created.

Mike Koneski 02-20-2016 11:04 AM

Hey Tool, shouldn't that marquee on the front of the bus say "FURTHER"?

Mike Koneski 02-20-2016 11:06 AM

Darryl, I will be talking to Don Jacobs and seeing if they'd be looking at doing a segment on double guns again. We shall see. :corn:

Mike; I must have missed this - who is Don Jacobs and what was the double gun segment?

Mike Koneski 03-15-2016 03:41 PM

That was WNEP 16 who did a segment for Pennsylvania Outdoor Life at the shoot. We have it posted on our website and it can be found in "POL" archives on their website. It was a 10-15 minute segment from their 1/2 hour weekly outdoors TV show which airs on a Sunday evening. They were here filming and doing interviews on Friday of the 4 day event.

Mike Koneski 03-17-2016 10:08 AM

Here's the schedule of events and registration. Just getting the info out now so y'all can make plans.

Dean Romig 03-17-2016 10:56 AM

Mike, is there a registration deadline or can we register when we get there?

.

Mike Koneski 03-17-2016 12:28 PM

Dean, walk-ins are welcome, but even preregistering for 1 event helps us plan range help, trappers, etc. Thanks for asking.

Chuck Bishop 03-17-2016 12:57 PM

Where is the 9mm event? I could win that!

Mills Morrison 03-17-2016 01:01 PM

The 8 bore event looks fun

Never know what steel might be shot after the shotguns are put away for the day? Might even have some rifle event(s) in the future. Probably not this year, but you never know what is in store for 2017. :) :corn:

Just might stttrreeeeetch those targets out a bit for the 8 bore. Not too far, just enough to be 8 bore pattern friendly.

Chuck Bishop 03-17-2016 01:31 PM

How about a Mo-Skeet event:rolleyes:

George M. Purtill 03-17-2016 01:42 PM

I have a Mo-Skeet-o gun. Remington 22 smoothbore. I wish I had the trap or even some of the targets.

John Truitt 03-17-2016 01:49 PM

John, we will have a "Double Down" (Make-It-Break) style game available to play and maybe, just maybe, we'd offer a "South Dakota Flush" right there too. 2 man team (not for score) and 50 birds in 2 minutes, random from singles to triples.

Sorry you missed the "Sweaty T-shirt contest last year"!! Should have much better temps this time. Won't have a spot for a "pigeon ring" but maybe a "Starting Rifle" event. :rotf:

So let it be written, so let it be done.....

Rich Anderson 03-18-2016 10:35 AM

Sounds like fun but if the lottery God's smile I'll have Mule Deer and Antelope tags for Wyoming this year. Maybe next time....it will give you time for the pigeon ring:)
