good morning
to all you parker boys out there hope each one of you is feeling good andrested up this morning...what a beautifull sun shiney day it is here...feels good to be alive....charlie
|
thanks Charlie
and a cold crisp good morning to you from up north |
Black clouds and no sun here. Rain predicted and that should help melt the remaining snow. Typical winter day here.
The weather doesn't matter as I'm not going anywhere, I need to finish sanding the sheetrock joints so we can paint the garage/shop. Another week or two and the garage should be back together and I can start working on projects and maybe do some reloading and shooting. |
Nasty raw, damp day here in the southern part of the Garden State. Good day to watch football, eat and drink.
|
Cool here but bright and sunny with a stiff breeze.
|
Cold as a mother in law's kiss here in Michigan. Shot clays with my grandsons today. They shot 90's. I didn't. Wish I could have been shooting under an assumed name.

Scout my youngest dog I wrote about in the Parker Pages a year ago. All grown up, and a GH 28. A wonderful day, beautiful country and sharing it with just the dogs Scout and Missy. |
Sunday was a good day, The Panthers won, now to just beat Arizona and we are in the big dance! The snow we had Saturday melted some but not much down to 5 tomorrow night, the wind here on the mountain is very strong they have wind chill advisories up guess I will oil some guns and do a little research, maybe smoke a stogie! We are having whiteouts here along the south shore of Lake Ontario. We expect about 2 feet by tomorrow. Looks like a great day to reload and clean guns.
|
Here on the rolling plains of North Texas we were 21 degrees at 8am with a 15 degree wind chill this morning. That will wake you up in a hurry.
|
Same here in NJ Bill
|
It's colder than a well diggers ass here. Wind chill in the negative numbers even the dog doesn't want to go out to pee:eek: Oh well it's a good day to load some shells for the varmint rifles.
Next week I'll be in south Georgia Quail hunting and it has to be warmer there:) |
Been so cold it took many days to even get to this discussion. This pic is of a departed great friend and shows the same kind of weather of late. Not sure when I will get to "enjoy" global warming. Spring can't come soon enough. Here is TAZ - Eyes closed, horizontal snow driven by 30mph winds makes the blurred lines in the pic.

Taz reminds me of Gunner
|
Would have liked to meet Gunner. If like Gunner, TAZ were to have his gun, I think this would be the pic for the floor plate.

Well its 32 degrees by here in Plymouth, mass and we're expecting some wet snow later this afternoon. Just got back from two weeks in the Caribbean where it was warm and wonderful. Only thing I'm looking forward to is tomorrow's Pats-Denver game. Go Pats!
|
I'm off to Georgia tomorrow to hunt Quail. I hope the weather doesn't effect my flights.
