DAVE MOSTELLER
For those of you that don't look at the Fox site, SFC George David Mosteller, U.S. Army Special Forces, went to his reward last week after a long and brave battle with cancer that he contracted while serving in IRAQ. Dave was an avid Fox collector and a hell of a nice guy. He was upbeat to the very end after losing one leg and then another. He will be missed.
Best Regards, George |
Rest In Peace SFC Dave. Prayers sent up.

First Sergeant, E-8 when he passed. What a great guy. We had "show and tell" at the Chantilly, VA show every few months.

A prayer for the family, I did not know him but has to be topnotch, Gary

Dam I had been putting off and putting off to call him since Thanksgiving . I was scared I'd call and find out what I just read !
I was only fortunate enough to know him for a couple years but he and I hit it off from the first time we met . God bless ! |

He'd been trying to get me to come to the Southern for the last two years but it seemed I always had something in the way :( |
The last time David returned from the Orient, he showed me an array of acquisitions, some of which were way more than unusual. The word "scary" comes to mind. We sure loved to show off each other's "stuff".

To be honest I'm kinda glad I didn't know him about five years ago ! I got hung up in Narita for 26 hours and if I'd gotten with him there I may not have made it to the Philippines and of course my wife would most certainly not have understood 😉😱😂

I didn't know Dave, but am thankful for his service. Knowing he was a double gun guy, I know we had plenty in common.
RIP, Dave, and God's Speed. |
