Birthday Present
I just gave my Daughter her 21st Birthday present. I purchased it at the Las Vegas show in 2005. It is a 20ga GH, straight stock, Dam 4 30" tubes, leather covered pad and weighs 6lb 5oz. Modern Dims made in 1917. It's her first Parker and was very pleased. I was a good day for me too.

Wow! What a desirable Parker.
Pictures would be great!.... You're a good Dad. . |
Nice gift. That is a Parker that I have been searching for to add to my modest collection.
I have introduced a few people to shooting SXS and usually pick a 20. It just works. Best, Patrick |
What a great Xmas gift one that will last her a lifetime and bring pleasant memories of you every time she shoulders it, well done! gary

You've asked for pix, GH or Daughter? (Ha-Ha) It's the lower GH of the pair. She also received the fitted antique case. I'm still looking for a husband for her.
|
Very nice gun indeed!
So where's the picture of your eligible daughter shooting her gift Parker? . |

One of her skinning a deer, skeet shooting a RBL 28 (had to be left handed) and driving a rental Mustang.
|
You must be a very proud Dad!
. |
Yes, very proud, she told us her grades for fall semester at Auburn today, Heat transfer A, Systems Analysis A, GPS Analysis A, Graph Theory A, Java Programming A. Better than I did getting my BSME by a long shot. Must be the water.

I am in Lagrange Ga.Just on the other side of the river,
|
Wayne, I just moved here last summer. Do you know where a good skeet/trap facility is located around here?
|
There is one here on this side of the river in Lagrange. I have not been to it but I under stand that it is top notch. They only aloe steel shot and I wont run steel through my guns.
|
I won't run steel through mine either. I've been to Wetumpka for a pheasant shoot. Used my CHE 12 for that. Warmed up on some 5 stand.

Mr. Hulgan started the skeet squad at Alabama. We are an Auburn Family, might not mix that well.
|
I don't know what other shooting you do but the just opened a new CMP range in Teladaga. I think you can shoot trap there also. There is supposed to be another new range opening in this era but I do not know if its ready yet.
