That's is frigging Fantastic........Were you hunting the Dakota's?

Orange? Those are just brown Round House overalls John D.
I'm hunting with Jeff Pelayo up in North Dakota. The Preacher is deadly on geese, apparently it works pretty well on larger game as well. |
Just what kind of swan is that...?
|
Big bird is dead !

Tundra

Destry-
nice bird- and I like the soft tones in the picture- goes well with the vintage outfit and Parker, great look I do remember seeing a recipe for swan once in an old book, I forget the spice mix, but the instructions said to put it in the oven at 350 and check it once a week until it is done. |
I think the recipe is have it mounted and don't eat it
|
Several years I was hunting in North Dakota and a friend got a Tag. He claimed it took him all afternoon to get a shot and it is one big bird. He had it mounted flying and it hangs in the dinning room. unreal mount. Danny

18 years I've been living with this curse.....
|
i m glad the curse is broken...it has took a while for this bird....who is the preacher...charlie
|
The Preacher is what I call my big magnum 10 gauge.
|
Destry, since I looked at "The Preacher" for months before you finally bit the bullet, get Jeff P. to tell you about the auction we both attended and I also failed to pull the trigger on a great Alex McComas eight bore. Jeff was not so slow with his checkbook and went home with the gun. Does he still have his eight bore collection?
|
Congrats! Very awesome
