Yours truly came away with the pair of 24" G grades from Julia's. With letter's for both.------Also managed to get the 36" D grade.

Congratulations Daryl !!!!!!!!! I think like Greg , usually 24" Barrels aren't good news ,so far any I have found were always longer at some point ! Do you have the guns in hand yet Daryl and any Pics. ????:corn:

Big repaired chip out of the toe in the stock as well.
|
My friend Daryl is the man. The 24" guns went real cheap. Congratulations. Daryl, were you at the auction?
|
Daryl, you scoundrel!! Good for you!
Haven't heard much from you lately and I'm glad you're still in for the "Parker chase." . |
Yep, Pat and I and another couple went for all three days. We ate lobster and checked out the fall colors. A nice few days to relax.

To be honest I had never cared much for lobster until I went there , I've always been more of a Chesapeake Bay Blue Crab person . But after that trip I had a new found taste for lobster as well ! |
Blue crab is great if someone else is pickin it. Lobster rules imo.

Congrats Daryl, Looks like you did well and added to your long gun collection too! Gary

I bought my 24" GHE Damascus 16 at a gun show. Some months later, I got a call from the seller telling me that the consigner had found the other two sets of barrels and forends in his gun room. He had forgotten that it was a three barrel set. It seems like most of our Parkers have some kind of story.
