Great photo and great gun. I think I saw that one this spring

Gary Carmichael Sr 08-05-2015 08:56 PM

I am honored and humbled to have it as the home page photo, Gary

Are those the laminated barrels we saw pic's of awhile back.

Steve Cambria 08-05-2015 10:17 PM

The photographer has a very distinct signature. Talented guy. Wonderful shot.

Gary Carmichael Sr 08-06-2015 01:52 PM

Those are damascus barrels, Photo credits go to Mike Smith, I am to dumb to take good shots like that,

Steve Cambria 08-06-2015 02:01 PM

Never heard of him.

Gary Carmichael Sr 08-06-2015 02:42 PM

Steve he takes most of the photos at PGCA events, he does not know it but he is like the official PGCA photographer, especially since he works cheap!, most of the time that is! Gary

Steve Cambria 08-06-2015 04:33 PM

Yes, Gary. I can spot "Smitty's" work from a mile away. Somehow, I don't think he'll be that cheap for too much longer. If he can make 100+ year old scatter guns look that appealing, just think what he can do with a bevy of SI swimsuit models!!:rotf::corn:

Ask "Smitty" about his stint as a lingerie photographer.

Guns like Gary has make a photographers work easy. Gotta have the right subject matter, and you get easily inspired looking at works of art like this 20ga!

Speaking of that, I still have a few of those "other" photos that I took laying around Daryl. Sorry, felt like I should keep it "G Rated" here. :duck:

Very nice !

But I find latin and asian subjects inspire me more :rotf:

Hmmm that explains my ex and present wives

Gary Carmichael Sr 08-07-2015 01:25 PM

Mike you old dog you, bring her when we shoot the last five guns, I always did like purple, talk about a back drop! She would make a 300.00 dollar grade pale in comparison! hope to get the last gun by early September have 4 of them now then on to the book maker, I have edited all of the photos, Gary

Steve Cambria 08-07-2015 02:32 PM

I'm still very much a neophyte in the world of Parkers. Is that what's commonly referred to here as a, Doll's Head Extension?:):corn:
Or, perhaps, Lightening Cuts???

Mike.Smith 08-07-2015 02:42 PM

Could be Steve, and isn't there a "DD" stamp we see on extra fine Damascus Barrels too?

Mills Morrison 08-07-2015 02:44 PM

Things are always better sxs

Steve Cambria 08-07-2015 02:54 PM

God one, Smitty! Not too shabby for a Fox guy.

I'm also betting that's no Half-Frame? :crying:

Richard White 08-07-2015 06:10 PM

Nice camera work!!

Daryl Corona 08-07-2015 06:10 PM

That's what we Parker guys call a matched pair. The bolsters around the nipples are highly embossed.:nono:

Bob Hayes 08-07-2015 07:20 PM

Parker Porn
Funny how you can get in trouble looking at both the real stuff or man made.

greg conomos 08-08-2015 12:22 PM

Gary, I'm available for adoption if you are looking for heirs. Dad.

Gary Carmichael Sr 08-08-2015 07:59 PM

Gregg, A better idea, lets both adopt her! Gary

Rick Martin 08-18-2015 01:59 PM

Have to ask and show my ignorance - which craftsman is responsible for the restoration? Or did this fine specimen get kid glove treatment for over 100 years? thanks
