As this is going out my/ our friend Dave Fjelline is undergoing another surgery to attempt to repair his eye and restore his vision.

Dave is the kind of guy the is the salt of the earth, If he befriends you no better friend will you have! I will keep him in my prayers, As I get older and my friends age my prayer list gets longer! Gary

What kind of eye surgery is he having, retinal detachment? I ask only because i am an optometrist who has worked in an optometry/opthalmology practice for 32 years. If you dont feel comfortable with discussing it, thats ok. Thoughts and prayers be with him.

Word has he is now home and tolerated the anesthesia well. Now we keep our fingers crossed the eye does well.

Doc I have been without internet for two days until just now- I am praying for success and also praying he can throw away his gizmo on his barrels because he doesn't need it any more.

Praying for Dave . What a GREAT guy. He took my son under his wing at the frist Southern he attended and we have enjoyed his company every since. Wishing you nothing but the best Dave!
