Our Girl Dee Durham down in Texas
 

Just a quick note on Dee down in Texas. Please say a bunch of prayers for her. Her cancer came back and she will be operated on Monday, June 29. Please ask God to watch over and keep her safe. Lord knows she' had her fill of difficulty. Thanks

Dee is a real sweetheart and lost both of her parents about three years ago.... she doesn't deserve this - God please watch over her.

That is terrible news

My prayers to Dee, my Mom had breast cancer in the late 70's they only gave her six months but she was very positive and so were we that supported her, she lived for more then 20 years after that. Stay positive Dee..... Eric

Hi guys! Thank you so very much for your thoughts and prayers! I am truly grateful for each and every one of you. Y'all just don't know how happy my heart is knowing I have people like you in my corner. I will be at Forest Park Medical Center in Southlake, Tx on Monday. They are hoping it will be something they can send me home to recover but may have to more in depth surgery once in. If that is the case, I will update you guys and let you know either way. Thank you again for restoring my faith in humanity. YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!

Dee, you will be in my daily prayers.

Dee----in 1955 on my 16th birthday my Mom was operated on for ovarian cancer for the second time. This October 9th she will be celebrating her 104 birthday in Naples ,FL. KEEP THE FAITH.

The Prayer Warriors here are, and will be doing their part. We pray for the guidance He will provide to the hands of the doctors, and for a speedy recovery.

As of yesterday, Dee is on the prayer list of our Church.

At 5:48 PM eft received word that Dee's surgery went well and now it is a wait and see as to further treatment. Please keep those prayers coming. Thanks

Anyone have any updates?

Hi!!! I had another visit to the hospital today. My oncologist was concerned about a lump near the incision on my belly and had a lot of pain but she said the Pain is from scar tissue being messed with and they did extensive work and scraping in that area to remove any potential threat remaining. No word on biopsy yet but to me no news is good news. Dr said my post of blood work looks waaaaaaay better than my pre op. Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers. Love you guys!

Dee, thank you for the update! I haven't posted on this thread till now but I've followed it from the beginning. I'm glad the sore lump was just scar tissue.
Let us know how the biopsy turns out. Keep positive, you'll get through this.

Good news!

Hello everyone! Pathology came back and the masses were BEGNIGN! Woo hoo! I was released to go back to work so I can keep my household afloat. I go back this Monday with light duty. Unfortunately Bills don't stop just because I have to lol! Blood work is looking good and dr is confident he's gotten everything. As long as my blood work keeps improving he doesn't want to press further with any treatment other than pain management. I'm still very sore, bloated and tired but I'm SO blessed! Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers
