Rick Losey 06-01-2015 11:08 AM

as of now----looks good

http://www.weather.com/weather/tenday/l/USPA0585:1:US

but- come on- its a weather forecast - they do not know what is will do tomorrow

Steve Cambria 06-01-2015 11:12 AM

See link below for VESTAL , NY weather. Take a few degrees off the highs for The Hollow. Looks pretty good to me, especially based on recent history!

Steve, I don't care about temperature, is it going to be "Wet"

Rick Losey 06-01-2015 11:20 AM

weather.com says 50% chance of showers Thursday less than 50% chance of afternoon showers Friday- diminishing Saturday

check again tomorrow- it will be different

Steve Cambria 06-01-2015 11:22 AM

Looks like only a 40% chance of a passing shower for FRI & SAT.....but of course we've heard that one before (2006-2007-2009-2011-2013.....)

Would I pack my rain gear? "Never leave home without it!"

Pete Lester 06-01-2015 12:08 PM

If Tool Man is in attendance the weather forecast will include 2 to 3 feet of drama by Wed night with BS blowing in from all directions until Saturday night. :rotf:

Dave Suponski 06-01-2015 01:08 PM

Wow Mr. Toolman it looks as though your fan base is on the uptick :rotf:

Steve Cambria 06-01-2015 02:07 PM

Pete,

That's probably the only thing I can guarantee. As for the weather, the targets the scores and the Belmont..... more news at 11! :banghead:

PS---Hey "Maguire," don't worry about Roll's fan base. At least I still have a few! :rotf:

Rick Losey 06-02-2015 08:52 PM

and now weather.com says upper 70's and little chance of rain for Thursday, Friday and Saturday

of course it will say something different tomorrow

Chuck Bishop 06-02-2015 09:05 PM

We've had some heavy rains in Harrisburg the last few days, real soakers! If they got the same up north, the ground may be soggy especially the parking area.

Rick Losey 06-02-2015 09:10 PM

I would guess they got it- Saturday all the way up into NY's Finger Lakes was a real downpour- and it kept up as a light rain until this morning

but - there are three days to dry out

Allen Peterson 06-02-2015 10:44 PM

I don't know why the Parker folks are so concerned about a little rain. You safe there's no soap in it.

Dean Romig 06-02-2015 11:25 PM

Might be a bit soggy for those tenting in the upper corner of the field.

:rotf:

when I was a kid, I remember a great uncle's funeral -a cold rainy day- one of the other 90 somethings was standing outside the rain fly

when someone said he should get out of the rain - his response was "I ain't made of sugar, I won't melt" and he didn't melt

he did however die of pneumonia

Bob Jurewicz 06-03-2015 10:43 AM

Forecast I saw this AM on my weather program said partly cloudy each day with very little chance of rain.
