Breaking News--Latest Recon from Hausmann's!

Morris Baker was flight testing his new RST drone early this morning and graciously shared a few photos of the pre-game festivities unfolding at Hausmann’s. It appears the erectors have arrived and are already hard at work assembling the new Fox/Parker digs on the hallowed grounds of Pointe du BO-WHOOP. All that’s left now as Ms. Judi Collins would say, is to Send in the Clowns (scheduled to arrive Thursday a.m.) and open the midway.

And speaking of Midway, how uncanny that this year’s contest will be run on June 4-6th, the same dates as the epic battle fought in the Pacific, 73 years ago. Will 2015 prove to be the “Turning Point” for Team Parker as they attempt to thwart Team Fox’s quest to remain unbeaten and triumphantly, carry the cup back home to Meriden? Only time will tell on that front. :corn:

In other news today, Fox officials announced the winner of the 2015 FPC tee shirt contest, selected from over 300 area entrants. As always, shirts will be available by calling:

1-800-ROA-STEM

96 hours and counting boys till the hammer drops at Hausmann’s. Don’t forget to pack an extra pair of asbestos panties! Safe travels and we’ll see you at The Hollow. :bigbye::bigbye:

Warmest regards,

Ad Roll----Fox Sales Dept.

:rotf:

so-- with all those trucks and box cars- Morris is back up to full production after the powder shortage????

Daryl Corona 05-31-2015 11:48 AM

Mr. Roll,
This will be my much anticipated return to the shooting sports after coming off the disabled list. I was considering shooting for the Fox team but now feel bad for the Parker team in that they have never won. I will be available for bribes and considerations on the morning of the 4th. May the best team win.:)

Steve Cambria 05-31-2015 12:59 PM

No worries DC, we promised Ernie a nail-biter of a Challenge this year and I believe your addition to Team Parker could prove to be one of the deciding factors in the final outcome. Besides, I'm no match for the wizardry of super agent, "Jerry Maguire "Suponski ,who I guarantee is burning-up all of his unused Verizon minutes today, drafting the top recruits from across the country! :crying: :banghead:

Mike Koneski 05-31-2015 01:03 PM

That's OK Mr. Roll, we have West, Bond,Templar, Solo and Kiriyakin already registered with Team Fox!! :bigbye:

Dave Suponski 05-31-2015 05:55 PM

Not to worry Mr. Toolperson. Fee's have been paid and planes are already on the taxiway soon to arrive at the Binghampton airport. Upon arrival they will be escorted via limousine to the shooting grounds in due time. Your demise is certain sir......

On the contrary gentleladies of the Fox persuasion... I seem to recall the year this all started and which probably put the spark in Mrs. Tool's kerchief (or rather the bee in her bonnet) to never again suffer such humiliation at the hands of the merciless Team Parker.

Let the games begin..... :biglaugh:

That last picture shows with certainty Mrs. Tool holding in her dainty hands the recently agreed to "Terms of Surrender".

That's what I'm talking about. I love flying on a chartered plane. I'm hoping for some 30 year old Bourbon and all the shrimp you can eat. (At least that 's what my agent specified in my contract).:bigbye:

I seem to remember some skulduggery that very day.

Steve Cambria 05-31-2015 07:05 PM

Good God, I'm amazed that digital images survive that long!! In all fairness, Mr. Editor & Chief, you of all people should realize the importance that captions play in any photo spread.

I do believe the last time Ad Roll and the Honorable Mr. Plunkett III were on their knees 'surrendering' their swords to the Parker Nation was ca. 2007???

Dean Romig 05-31-2015 07:11 PM

No actually, May 15, 2010.... and still very fresh in my memory. We've been kind to you ever since, I mean, after all....

Steve Cambria 05-31-2015 07:14 PM

Oh yes, Mr. Maguire I haven't forgotten that most heinous act! BTW, I'll have 1000 reasons to get even with you at The Hollow as our AHFCA logo has undergone a facelift of sorts.

Dean Romig 05-31-2015 07:21 PM

Wow Steve - that's very nice! Do I have to join AHFCA to get one or will you just apply one to my truck (tastefully) in retaliation?

Frank Srebro 05-31-2015 07:23 PM

Was out shooting a Fox from the back of the safe today (prep for the F-P Challenge) and two of my buds said they brought the best they could muster for the RGS shoot and awards. They have a Parker and a LCS at home but showed up with competition gas guns with plastic grip caps and matching blues. As I understand it the stocks are chipwood or similar and have a veneer "wood figure" coating. :rotf:

Eeeiou..... (as my 13 y.o. granddaughter would say)

Nice Fox by the way Frank.

We borrowed a page from the AMEX playbook Deanno:

"Membership has its Privileges...."

Dean Romig 05-31-2015 07:44 PM

Steve, I know you'll be easy to find and I'll be looking you up so that I can join your fine organization.

One hand washes the other. I am more than happy to support the AHFCA.

Good luck trying to join AHFCA. I sent them a check which they promptly cashed in the Cayman Islands and then NOTHING..........
I hope I at least get a new sticker!

Harold Lee Pickens 05-31-2015 09:02 PM

Frank, your Fox is clearly a rose between 2 thorns. Hope you bested them gas guzzlers.

Frank Srebro 05-31-2015 10:24 PM

No Harold I didn't. The Fox had a 87/100. She's choked X-F in both barrels and I don't use spreaders for practice shooting. Not the best for the closest targets. My buds are pretty good shots and kept IC chokes in their Berettas. They came in with 90/100 and 89/100.

Ill say what the salesman at H&H said when I walked into 33 Bruton Street with a Purdey bag. "There is just no accounting for poor taste."

Harold Lee Pickens 06-01-2015 08:32 AM

87/100, not to shabby Frank, esp. with those chokes--no wonder the Fox guys come out on top. I am a mediocre shooter at best, usually in the mid 70's on a good day. Dont shoot a 12 very much, but I do have an early pin gun that is choked cyl/m.

Steve Cambria 06-03-2015 08:09 PM

Hey Charlie Purple,

You'll get your AHFCA membership packet when I get my McINTOSH, A.H. Fox book returned! I know, I know, once you wrap your hands around sheer perfection, it's soooooo hard to let go!!!! See you at The Hollow, Counselor:bigbye:

Dave Suponski 06-03-2015 08:16 PM

Hey Toolboy...I'll sell ya my Fox book. It keeps pickin fights with all the Parker books.... Oh ya....It loses all the time.....:bigbye:

Steve Cambria 06-03-2015 08:49 PM

You better hit the rack OP.....you're going to need every ounce of strength just to survive through Saturday!! See you under the BIG TOP! :corn:

Dave Suponski 06-03-2015 08:50 PM

Sure will....See ya tomorrow Steve......Let the games begin.....

Mike Koneski 06-06-2015 10:25 PM

The dust settled after a great slugfest with Team Fox on top AGAIN 81-78!!! Well played Team Parker!!
