1 Attachment(s)
Any thoughts on these guns?Looks in good shape and priced right I believe.Sweet handling very little gun.
|
its a 28
AND it has hammers what is not to like especially "priced right" the only question is why is the picture taken in a gun shop - not in your house :rotf: and for reference - http://parkerguns.org/forums/showthread.php?t=15650 |
Grab it quick before I find out where it's for sale.
|
Thomas sold a nice one a couple of weeks ago on this site. I'm still kicking myself for not buying it. A nice 28ga hammer at a reasonable price. Bob

As originally introduced circa 1909, they were offered in .44 caliber and 28-gauge --

Its nice but I was distracted by two parkers they just took in.The first is an honest VH 12ga with #2 frame 28" barrels(vulcan). The 2nd a 12ga trojan hammer gun #3 frame with 32" barrels.
|
The hammer gun has(parker 12ga) has laminated barrels.
Gun really caught my eye but handling it I realized just how large a frame it is. Can't seem to stop thinking about it.Would be fun in a duck blind. |
there are no Trojan hammer guns
that looks like an 0 grade - if i read the serial number right it books as a 12ga 32 inch with plain twist barrels what are the bores like And PS I want to shop with you :) |
Nice guns Bob, all three. Dave.... You simply amaze me with you knowledge. Thanks.

Where do you get this stuff so fast? I wish I was you. Then I could really write some articles. |
Yeah I thought the trojan was wrong but did not have my glasses with me and was looking at 3 guns at the same time.I could swear the barrels said laminated on them.Is that possible?
|
What does the book say about the VH if anyone has time. The S/N 148164 my book is at home.I guess I should get another to keep at the ranch.
|
12 ga 30 inch no extras - pistol grip stock
|

Thanks |

That's at a Gander MTN. Those H&R 28g and 20g hammer guns are kinda neat. And they do carry a pretty good price tag for being an H&R. |
