All the best,
Parker Gun Collectors Association Forums
I do not find anyprivate messages listed, nor do I have any idea as to what they mean by spam. I just re registered for the new forum and probably do not have any new posts, so I am wondering what is going on.

Perhaps one of the site administrators could e mail me at my listed account, as nothing is showing in the private messages portion.

Thanks

J.J.( Jeff) King, RPh

I received a similar message but when I logged in, the dialog box said I did not have privileges to view it.

Dean Romig 03-10-2010 01:39 PM

Our website administrator has obviously deleted that particular PM from all of our in-boxes.

Jim Hawk 03-10-2010 01:55 PM

I also received this e-mail but did not click on the link. Instead I went to the Forum and logged in. I had no new private message.

John Trevathan 03-10-2010 07:52 PM

Received same. Obviously spam of some sort.
Thanks for the heads up.

I have received the same message. Beware! I think it is a phony email looking for personal information......

WILLIAM STANELL 03-10-2010 09:36 PM

I too received this and my computer said it was an unsafe site do not open it

This may be a virus email !!

Mike McAnelly 03-11-2010 09:25 PM

Same message showed up in my registered email account. No private message exists. Looks like an attempt to steal login info.

John Dunkle 03-11-2010 10:11 PM

Oh - just shoot me....

Dean Romig 03-11-2010 10:31 PM

OO - BANG-BANG!!

I can't stand to watch a slow painful death :biglaugh:

John Dunkle 03-11-2010 10:35 PM

Thanks Dean! I feel much better now.. ;)

I get the feeling that a few of the folks in this thread are auditioning for the remake of "Forrest Gump - Part Deux" - but can't wait for the casting call, so are trying out their lines here...

But - what do I know..???

:D

John

Dean Romig 03-11-2010 10:41 PM

You kill me...

John Dunkle 03-11-2010 10:44 PM

;) By the way - I'm off to Haiti again this weekend... the reason I tell you this is that - well - I'm leaving YOU in charge of the PGCA Forum....

Surprise - and good luck!!! You have been "volunteered"..

;)

Forrest (aka - "John"... ;) )

Dean Romig 03-11-2010 11:11 PM

Sorry, I'm busy.... :glug:

John Dunkle 03-11-2010 11:12 PM

Not a problem. I'll just close the forum tomorrow with a forwarding e-mail to your e-mail address.. I'll open it back up when I'm back - if I don't forget..??

Best to ya'

;)

Due to the received "virus" email from editor, I had IT run an indepth scan on my machine, and they did find a culprit deep within. Thanx to PGCA Administrator for the message.

I received it as well- AOL said it was spam and to forward to them as such.I thought my comp. was the culprit, and even was in the progress of getting a different virus protection.
