Repro #20-044, engraved by Robt Strosin
Just received this from Robert E. Strosin (www.resengraving.com). Started as an unfinished A-1 repro. We did not attempt to replicate an original Parker pattern, just let Bob do what he does best. I am more than pleased with it, hope you like it too, most of the pictures do not do justice.

Very neat heavy work, not like any Parker Brothers work. Congratulations.

Forest,
I really really like it!!!! Bob Jurewicz |
Thanks gentlemen, as I said, we did not try to reproduce an original pattern, afterall, it is not an original Parker anyway.

Beautiful scroll work! I like that as much as any original pattern I've ever seen. Tasteful, balanced, not "over the top."
|
Prettiest engraving I've ever seen. Masterfully done !!!

Wow! nice job.

Wow!!!!
I love it. |
Bob is a hell of an engraver and easy to deal with!!!

Forrest; I just had to look at this again: Bob has finished up an engraving job for me that another fellow just never finished, and I am twiddling my thumbs waiting for the 16 gauge Fox to get here. He was so pleasurable to do business with. Just a plain old nice guy in what can be a world of prima donnas.

I do not mean to take anything away from the subject gun of this thread but here are a couple likes to other threads featuring Bob Strosin's work:
