Drew, Parker SST is what comes to my mind. We don't see the other side. Also I think, but am not sure, that all or most Millers are marked Miller.....Murphy would likely know the answer to that.

Compiling a trigger photo album? I have a CHE 16ga with gold plated, checkered triggers believe it or not. They are Parker triggers but I can't tell if they are original or done later. Who knows, the gun went back to change out the damascus barrels to fluid steel. Wish I still had the damascus set.

On some of the Miller Single Triggers the "MILLER" stamp is out of sight up inside the lower tang of the trigger or floor plate. That one looks like a Parker single trigger.

Yup... Parker single trigger. With the late style safety slide I would guess its the later two screw single trigger..

I once had a Parker with early single screw SST that somebody had put a second dummy screw in to make it look like the two screw model, which is reputed to be more reliable. I had no problem with the trigger,however its irritating the length some people will go to fake things.

Drew , see The Parker Story. There is quite a bit written about the Parker SST there. Designed within Parker, unlike Fox or some other makers.

There were many attempts at perfecting a single trigger that would not double. Some would say that they are still not perfected but I have had no trouble with single triggers in my personal experience.

To me, the right side of a Parker SST looks like a Miller, but the left side always looks different. The Miller trigger is wider and not as sculptured, but then I have only seen maybe a dozen or so Miller installations, unlike people in Penn and the NE who have likely seen many many more and all the variances. Some people, and Don Kaas is a proponent of them, love Millers above all other triggers. I've not shot a Miller, I wouldn't know.

I have some Millers on Parkers, all the early selective model, and they all work. My 12 gauge Skeeter has a non selective factory installed Miller and it works also.

Herman (?) Shula was a German jeweler who designed the second model Parker single trigger. He was Babe DelGrego's grandfather.

Miller's are usually stamped Miller, but the stamp may be obscure. A very slightly modified Miller design is used on the K32.

My VH has a single trigger. The trigger selector is mounted on the stock behind the barrel release lever--it has a slide selector which starts at "L" on the bottom, slides to "S" in the middle and goes to "R" at the top

Does this suggest what "brand" of single trigger it is?

INFALLIBLE SINGLE TRIGGER
 

My Peck's Bad Boy lifter gun has a non-selective Infallible Single Trigger. It has a slot for a switch but the switch is missing and trigger works perfectly. Does anyone know where I might locate some technical information on Infallible Triggers ... And a gunsmith with a working knowledge of Infallible Triggers ?

Your description is of an early Miller Selective trigger. The barrel selection was integrated into the Safety by Miller. These are my favorite Miller triggers. Some despise them for the rough stamping of R/L that Miller put on top tang of the Parker gun. They work very well and I consider them a premium on a Parker gun.

i have a 12 ga trojan with a miller that has the rocker selector in front of the trigger, i like this ,it is ez to get at and the trigger is nice and wide for your finger to fit on it with or with out a glove on, scott

So let me see if I have this right. There are three variations of the Miller single trigger. 1)Slide selector mounted rear of opening lever.2)Non-selective trigger3)Safety slide mounted selector. Did Miller ever use a trigger plate mounted selector similar to Parker?

Yes to Drew's photos of the Parkers with the two versions of PArker SST's. Nice photos showing the minor differences. What I had was the first one made to look like the second with a dummy screw and a person wouold not know unless the gun was disassembled. It worked fine for me. I talked to Lawrence DelGrego about the differences and what I was told was that the later model was less subject to wear, although I do not remember the explanation. But the original SST was capable of firing for tens of thousands of rounds before trigger work would be needed. The keys to Parker SST's are do not mess with them and do not lubricate them.
