Thanks John
The PGCA's Parker Champion shoot with be at this years Fall Southern. It is a 50 bird handicaped shoot with the awards presented at the Backwood's banquet Saturday evening. The shoot is the 50 bird prelim event on Saturday.
You must register at the PGCA display table before shooting. There is also a Parker- Smith Chalenge Saturday afternoon. Tom Carter has just presented Dean with an PP article on this fun challenge.

Trying to work this into our schedule. Hopefully the Mrs and I can make the trip. We need pay-back against those LC guys!!

Mike Koneski 07-03-2014 07:08 PM

How's the vendor situation at this shoot? I'm getting the urge!!

David Dwyer 07-04-2014 07:05 AM

Mike
The Spring Southern is a gun dealer event with marginal shooting at Deep River. This is a shooters event with marginal vender participation. If you like to shoot this is as good as it gets with real southern hospitality!

Well, my wife heard the word "BEACH". We're in!!

David Dwyer 07-05-2014 03:54 PM

Mike
If you stay in Georgetown your wife will be 10 minutes from two nice beaches at Pawleys Island, Bill Mullin's home. The weather here in October is also pretty nice for the beach. Looking forward to seeing you here.

Mike,

it truly is a great shoot. Last year I burned over 800 shells in competition targets. The year before that about the same.
No delays. Great targets. Really nice people and wonderful country.
Hope to see you there.

I was hoping to find some other Yankees to drive down with me, But, I see they're discriminating against 16ga shooters, so, now, I don't know.

Mr Spencer.

Looks like they made a mistake on that page you posted. Check out the registration one. I know as of right now I am registered for at least 2 different 16 ga events.

Good luck finding a ride down. Hope to see you there.

Mike Koneski 10-01-2014 09:53 PM

Yup, registered for 16g hammer and hammerless. It's on the registration page.

Wouldn't a side by side 16 be the same as a 32?

Mike Koneski 10-02-2014 02:23 PM

It says 32 gauge meaning you can shoot your 16g twice.
