Anyone know where I can info a Merkel O/U.The grades,manufacture dates,etc..

There's an article on the different O/Us in the Winter 2013 issue of Double Gun Journal. Very nice O/Us IMO, I'd love to have one of the high grade versions, but fairly expensive.

Nice gun I found today.I think its made in 1936.Real tight action with ejectors,indicators,engraved with good barrels.Its been used just can't seem to get my hands on something thats been in a closet.Thats what happens hanging around a bunch of hunters.

There was an article by Peyton Autry in The American Rifleman, July 1975, Page 19, on high grade Merkel over/unders, 303 and 304s.

Found out it was manufactured 1936.It has 30" barrels full/full,12 ga 2 3/4 chambered.Nice engraving and stock other than the check pad on butt section.Real nice action with ejectores,indicators.Handles nice I'll put some pictures up tonight or tomorrow.

Here are a few pictures of Merkel.Looks like a 200e which gun is in good shape except the butt stock.

This one has got me confused unless it means nothing.The gun(200e)on Safari website has single lug mine has two lugs.Every other one I have looked at has only one.
