Now I know you fellows are having a good time discussing porn and some other gun talk site and apparently some of you have been having fun discussing matters of great importance with the Fox, but just in case somebody here likes nice Parkers, they might be interested in this old gun and they might find what Eve saw.

Guns like this is why I love Parkers. Thanks for posting this and all the other great guns I probably would never get to see.

I recall seeing photos of this gun or another like it before with the Parker banner snake. Very nice gun.

That encompassing ring around the floor plate weaving in and out of the scroll is awesome.

Extremly nice!!

Some day I'll run across one with the serpent head banner. Love the dog's, thanks for sharing!!

Has anybody seen a pointing turkey?

Out here west of the Mississippi, the pheasants are as big as dogs and the turkeys point our bird dogs.

I kinda like the frog on that first one!

John Taddeo 05-18-2014 11:32 AM

Ok.... where is the frog????

Russ Jackson 05-18-2014 01:31 PM

Maybe that is just an ambidextrous Setter and points from both sides !:rotf: ,Beautiful Gun by the way !!!!!!!

Dean Romig 05-18-2014 03:03 PM

In the oval below the flying duck. Flip the picture of the floor plate to the left in a horizontal position and tell us what you see in that oval....

Russ Jackson 05-18-2014 04:23 PM

Very Clever Dean !!!!!!

Dean Romig 05-18-2014 04:28 PM

It wasn't I who found it. We looked at this gun on this forum a couple of years ago and I think it was Bruce who pointed it out to us then.

Actually, I think that is "what the Princess saw" and then she kissed the frog....

I seemed to remember the Parker Brothers Serpent Banner ,but I really don't recall the Frog ! Same as the Stock Repair Gun on another thread yesterday ,I didn't think the repair looked quite the same on the " NUT " side of the repair as the gun discussed a year or so ago but the old memory seems to be getting shorter these days for some reason  !

The engraver was surely a creative fellow.. I see it now ,thank you..
