Just before Drake's served us an outstanding lunch of brisket and North Carolina Bar-B-Q I had the honor and privilege of discussing politics with United States Representative the Honorable Renee Ellmers. Oh, I got a hug too! :bowdown:

Okay, after lunch we shot the courses as there are two!

Julia "Mills" tried out my fox named Blonde. She shot her so well, and I had a 250 Dollar Grade to pay for, well she does look good shooting Blonde! Why would I want to break them up?

Then there is Mr. Mills, a mild mannered attorney for a quaint metropolitan law firm. Little would anyone suspect that he wields a Mighty Parker GH 8 Gauge!

Well folks, so ends this photographic journey down the groomed gravel paths at Drake Landing. Did I mention that everyone rides in golf carts? Very cool especially for Mills who didn't have to hump that mighty Parker 8 Gauge over heck and high water!

See everyone at Hausmann's!!!

Julia had some misconception on the alignment of her barrels. I'm glad you and Blondie got her straightened out.

Right, I am trying to save her vision

Chuck Bishop 05-04-2014 11:00 PM

Mark, tell us how you came to meet the Congresswoman. I've seen some of her YouTube video's. That woman has some smarts! I'd vote for her!

Mark Ouellette 05-04-2014 11:30 PM

Chuck,

Representative Ellmers was at Drake's Landing for a shooting event. Dan the owner offered to introduce me but I declined and introduced myself to her. And yes, she is smart!

Chuck;
Just another one of the perks at Drakes. Mark, I don't know which I like better, your assortment of nice guns or your photos. Thanks for both.

Not only did he fire two shells but also crushed both of a hard crossing report pair
