Just think of it as your "New Years Day Shoot" that you guys always shoot.:rotf::rotf::rotf::rotf:

Dean Romig 03-16-2014 01:51 PM

Now that puts it in perspective!!

Gents, I have been itching to get back into making some more homemade sausage and maybe some Brats'. If we had a count of how many folks will be attending this fun shoot (it really is fun!) I'm happy to make enough sausage (and some seasoned venison/beef burgers) for the 'troops'. Can anyone give me an approximate count? I will also bring along some more of 'Clyde's Blackout' libation (for after the shoot like last year) to finish of the days fun shoot.

I will be there, thanks scott

Dave Suponski 03-19-2014 05:17 PM

Allen, If you figure 20 you should be good.

allen newell 03-19-2014 05:22 PM

Sounds good Dave. By the way, that Parker I recently purchased from you is greatly improving my skeet game. thanks. A.

For those who did not attend last year's fun shoot and thereby did not have the opportunity to partake of the aforementioned libation, it is a very fine bottled hard cider that is aged in sherry casks so it makes for a very nice (interesting?) after the shoot drink. Bottled at Clyde's Cedar Mill in Stonington, Ct.

Dave , T shirts?

Larry Frey 03-19-2014 06:39 PM

Allan,
Deb and I will be there and I will bring some German made Venison hot dogs and smoked Kielbasa I had made at Noaks in Meriden.

allen newell 03-19-2014 07:01 PM

Thanks Larry, that sounds great. I'll bring about 8 lbs of Italian (sweet) sausage and about 8 lbs of fresh Brats. I'll skip the venison & beef burgers as I think that between you and me, we will have the gang covered. Will we be using Addieville's outdoor charcoal/gas(?) grills? Some one needs to bring some California cold slaw and some nice German potato salad to complement the sausages, Kielbasa and Dogs. I'll bring mustard, paper plates and ketchup. someone needs to add some soda.

Dean Romig 03-19-2014 07:22 PM

I'll bring plenty of soda for everyone.

allen newell 03-19-2014 08:15 PM

Do we need to bring charcoal and/or propane for grills to use that are there? Addieville supply the fuel?

Dean Romig 03-19-2014 08:33 PM

Jack takes care of the gas for the grills.

I'm sure Dave will discuss everything with Jack well in advance.

edgarspencer 03-20-2014 06:39 AM

I'll be there just to eat. I think I can talk my wife into making us (except Dave) another carrot cake.

allen newell 03-20-2014 07:35 PM

Edgar, she makes the best carrot cake! Don't piss her off between now and then.

That's 21 days away Allen. Have you any idea how many times, without so much as trying, that I will piss her off in 21 days? I will pass on the compliment though. That should counter the first couple F-ups, on my part.

allen newell 03-21-2014 07:32 AM

Edgar, you and I have been around the track long enough to know there are things we can say and do to keep our Ladies happy. Go to work on it these next 21 days! I have complete faith in you and desperately want to see that carrot cake on my plate at Addieville! It is the best by far IMHOI We're all rooting for you to succeed.

Chris Travinski 03-21-2014 09:51 AM

I'll be there too, what would you like me to bring? Dave, Dean, Larry?? Send me a PM if I can contribute.

allen newell 03-21-2014 01:18 PM

Chris, bring some cold slaw.

Dave Suponski 03-21-2014 05:17 PM

I am meeting with the t-shirt guy Monday after work. Can I get a count and size? I am only getting them for those that want one.

Dean Romig 03-21-2014 08:28 PM

Dean Romig 03-22-2014 06:16 AM

And Jamie wants an XL also.

edgarspencer 03-22-2014 06:51 AM

Chris, Make sure you get COLD slaw, not cole slaw.

allen newell 03-22-2014 03:20 PM

XL for me Dave

Frank Cronin 03-22-2014 03:34 PM

Frankie will be there..... 2XL Mr. Dave......:corn:

Will Danny be there or will he be preoccupied with other things.....???

allen newell 03-22-2014 06:44 PM

Made 8 lbs of sweet Italian sausage today for Addieville. Given that Larry is bringing Kilebasa and 'dogs', I'll forgo making any brats. This we have enough meat for the lads. This will go nicely with the 'cole' slaw and Edgar's famous Karat Kake! (lol)

Ed?

And, I take no credit for the cake. I just get it there.

Dean Romig 03-22-2014 09:24 PM

Sheesh Allen.... it's "Eggar".

:D
