Reproduction Production Stats ?

Gentlemen, I'm having a little trouble searching for production data on Parker Reproductions- numbers, dates, grades, gauges, etc. Is there a thread or is the data posted elsewhere? I did read Allen Newell's thread. Thanks in advance.

Kenny Graft 10-29-2013 07:19 PM

All records were lost in a flood....The parker story has the best info about the number of guns produced. SXS ohio

Greg Baehman 10-29-2013 08:10 PM

There's some good information in this six page article from the Modern Parker Paper album in the All Albums section of this site:

Robin Lewis 11-02-2013 03:22 PM

There is a small amount of stats on the Parker Grades web page in the repro section. Not much but it is about all I have ever seen.

ForrestArmstrong 11-02-2013 06:02 PM

Thanks Robin. A surprising large number A-1 custom grades. Sure would be nice to have a 410 BHE!

Production numbers:
DHE 28 Gauge 4,203
DHE 20 Gauge 5,800
DHE 12 Gauge 2,137
DHE 12 Gauge Steel Shot 350
DHE 12 Gauge Sporting Clays 125
DHE 410 Gauge 33
BHE 28 Gauge 7
BHE 20 Gauge 100
BHE 12 Gauge 100
BHE 410 Gauge 9
A-1 Factory Engraved, All Gauges 150
A-1 Custom Engraved, All Gauges 300
A-1 28/.410 Combo 16
Plus 500 16 Ga barrel sets that fit on the 0 frame 20ga DHE

Bill Murphy 11-03-2013 08:27 AM

Forrest, the production total of "Custom Engraved A-1" at 300 probably includes the total number of A-1 guns intended for engraving, not the total actually engraved. Unengraved examples were sold in quantity by Galazan's, and other dealers and individuals ended up with more. In my opinion, they are a great investment if you can find one.

ForrestArmstrong 11-03-2013 09:42 AM

Bill, wonder if the $49K Remington Parker made by CSMC utilizes remaining Galazan unfinished repros?

Dean Romig 11-03-2013 09:58 AM

No they aren't. The Remington/CSMC Parker is a 28 Ga, on a 00-Frame. The "in the white" A1-S Repros were all 12 ga. guns as I recall, with possibly a few 20 ga. guns.

Bill Murphy 11-03-2013 05:16 PM

Dean is partially correct. They were 12s and 20s, but more than a few 20s. If there were unfinished A-1 28s in need of engraving, they would be selling for $25000 or more.

Dean Romig 11-03-2013 05:46 PM

Really Bill? I don't recall seeing any CSMC (or any other vendor for that matter) "in the white" A1-S 20 ga. Repro's for sale.
How many of those might there have been available?

Anyone?

Greg Baehman 11-03-2013 06:10 PM

I recall several different configurations of CSMC in-the-white 20-ga. A1-Specials offered during their closeout. If the secondary market is any indication it seems that more 20s become available than 12s. Jay Shachter sold a Chris DeCamillis engraved 3-bbl. set that we discussed here: http://parkerguns.org/forums/showthread.php?t=7582
and Puglisi's sold two others recently. Forum member Rex Northen posted pics of his 3-bbl. set that Ken Hurst engraved here:

Dean Romig 11-03-2013 06:29 PM

Thank you Greg.

ForrestArmstrong 12-16-2013 11:55 AM

Geoffroy told me he engraved "less than 10" duck stamp A-1 Specials. One is currently for sale on GB, nice looking shotgun to me:

Bill Murphy 12-16-2013 01:42 PM

Dean, there were a bunch of 20 gauge A-1 unfinished guns available but they were first to go. GG kept a bunch and still has one or two, but will only take engraving contracts on them.

ForrestArmstrong 12-16-2013 02:25 PM

I dont think GG has any.
Go to www.eurochasse.com, click on "gunroom", click on "winchester", scroll down to bottom of page.

Jack Purkis 12-16-2013 10:05 PM

I have a 12 ga 2 barrel set still in the white, from CSMC in 2004 at that time I believe 12's were all they were advertising in DGJ.
Still trying to decide what to do with it.
Suggestions?

Bill Murphy 12-17-2013 03:34 PM

Sorry, I meant to say that GG may have a 12, but his 20s are gone.

Bill Murphy 12-17-2013 03:37 PM

Jack, what is the configuration of your 12?

Jack Purkis 12-17-2013 09:51 PM

Straight grip, sinle trigger, Q1 and Q2, and if I remember correctly imp and modified 2 3/4 chambers.
Just sent it to GG to hold a spot 18 months from now.

ForrestArmstrong 12-18-2013 10:09 AM

I have a consecutively numbered pair of 12s like those Jack described in GG's shop right now. #1628 &1629 on Eurochasse.

Greg Baehman 12-18-2013 10:18 AM

Since we're talking about pairs, take a look at this composed pair:
http://www.gulfbreezefirearms.com/pr...&cat=17&page=1

ForrestArmstrong 12-18-2013 10:28 AM

Makes me feel better about my "investment". If anyone has thought about owning a consecutively numbered pair, I'd jump on those 20 ga sets on eurochasse. One set has really outstanding wood.

Todd Schrock 12-18-2013 02:31 PM

Well, looks like someone has stepped-up to the plate! The pair with the nice wood is awaiting payment of $21,000.00 :corn:

ForrestArmstrong 02-01-2014 12:07 PM

$10.5K each isn't really too bad, most A1 upgrades or customs are around $20K. Nice full coverage engraving can be had for less than the difference. And of course there are the new Galazan repros ($49K for starters).

Bill Murphy 02-01-2014 09:56 PM

Are we talking about the Eurochasse guns? How much is he asking for the single 20 gauge two barrel sets that are not described as "sold"? No prices on the website.

ForrestArmstrong 02-02-2014 12:02 AM

$10.5K for 2 barrel unfinished 20 gauge A1s, if he has any left.

Bill Murphy 02-03-2014 09:26 AM

Thanks for the information. That makes for a pretty pricey finished gun.

ForrestArmstrong 02-03-2014 12:03 PM

Yes, but still for less than A1 customs or upgrades I have seen for sale lately, which have been around $20K or more. Even the Japanese engraved A1 sets seem to be around $15K now. There is a GG A1 with lily floral pattern presently on GI for $24.5K. I talked to several master engravers at the Beinfield show who can replicate original or variations of original A1 engraving for around $6500, for a total investment of $17K. Yes, still alot of money.

ForrestArmstrong 02-21-2014 10:08 AM

And there's this  http://www.gunsinternational.com/Par...n_id=100397682
