Hidden Hollow Shoot

Does anyone know if we have rooms blocked at the Quality Inn in Vestal or any other hotel for the Northeast Side x Side Classic at Hausmann's ? thanks Jim Martin

Dave Suponski 04-29-2013 03:14 PM

Yes we do Jim. And they are filling up fast from what I understand.

allen newell 04-29-2013 06:03 PM

Dave, there are 2 Quality Inn s in Vestal. Which one is the favored one?

Dave Suponski 04-29-2013 06:12 PM

Quality Inn and Suites 4105 Vestal Parkway East. Vestal,NY 607-729-6371

allen newell 04-29-2013 06:22 PM

Thanks Dave. I'm working on directions with my GPS. What town is Hausman's in?

Brian Dudley 04-29-2013 06:28 PM

I know... I am trying to get an address or something too. Their website is a bit lacking in that arena of information.

allen newell 04-29-2013 06:32 PM

You have that right! I believe they're on Flynn rd in Friendsville, Pa. I just did a mapquest from my home to Friendsville and it worked. At least to Friendsville. I'll use on of their maps in their 'Directions" section of their web site to get to the course.

Dave Suponski 04-29-2013 06:34 PM

Yes, Use Flynn Rd. Friendsville,PA and your GPS will find it. I right accross from the sheep farm....Yup I'm serious.

allen newell 04-29-2013 06:43 PM

Thanks Dave. Are most folks driving there on Thursday? Is there much going on, on FRiday. Jean has her regular scheduled chemo on Thursdays, I'm trying to gauge whether I need to plan to stay at the Quality Inn THursday night or get there FRiday afternoon.

Any sugestions? When do most folks fro out of town plan to arrive.

Brian Dudley 04-29-2013 07:51 PM

Who should I talk to about getting a vendor table?

Allen,
We always leave early am on Friday and arrive around 10:00am. I believe all the shooting events start on Friday and continue thru Sunday afternoon.

allen newell 04-29-2013 09:24 PM

It's a 7 hr drive for me so I'll leave extra early Friday morning and shoot for a mid morning arrival. I imagine checking in to the Quality Inn can be later Friday. Looking forward to that weekend and meeting more PGCA Members.

Besides the scheduled events during the day on Friday, Sat and Sunday, are there any evening activities PGCA Members and Others attending should plan for? Formal or not? Is this all casual? or do I need to bring some formal attire? (please say NO).

Just cancelled my room reservation so there's a room available at the Quality Inn if someone needs it. My wife is not well so I'm going to pass on this shoot.

Dean Romig 05-21-2013 09:04 AM

Sorry to hear that Allen. We're hoping her recovery is quick and thorough.

Dean
