Volunteer's needed

The PGCA will have a table at the first annual Eantern Panhandle shoot at Prospect Hall in West Va. May 16-18th. If some of us who are going to this inuagural event could help by vouunteering a couple of hours at our table it would be appreciated.
Thank you in advance:)

Rich
Where in W. Va is it?
David

Rich Anderson 03-26-2013 08:22 AM

Middleway W VA. Chuck Brunner who is one of the founders of this shoot posted about it. I believe the thread was Eastern Panhandle SXS Classic in the general discussions section. It should be a good shoot and as it's their first one it would be great to help get it off the ground.

David;
The venue is just outside Charlestown, WV. and not far from Harper's Ferry. Beautiful club. Hope you and Tom can make it.

Chuck Bishop 03-26-2013 04:26 PM

I'll be there for at least one day. I'd be happy to help.

Robert Rambler 03-26-2013 05:53 PM

After I've had a chance to burn some powder on the course, I could hang out at the table for awhile. (to help keep Chuck in line).:):corn:

Rich Anderson 03-26-2013 06:20 PM

Robert and Chuck thanks in advance for the help. If you two want to cordinate schedules and pick a day and time please just let me know.

Robert Rambler 03-26-2013 06:43 PM

I'll be down Friday and Saturday.

I might be going to this shoot and if so I'll help out for a couple hours. I'll let you know as soon as my schedule is firm.

Rich Anderson 03-27-2013 07:44 AM

Thanks Mike.

Harold Lee Pickens 03-27-2013 08:57 PM

Note to all: do not confuse Charlestown near the shoot, with Charleston the state capitol--they are 4hrs apart.
I am thinking about going just to see how these shoots are run and if I would feel comfortable shooting. I am not a competitive shooter, but can break 70-75 on the local courses with my Fair Rizzini 16 ou (double triggers of course), and slightly less with a sxs. The only appropriate 12 ga I have is a Pin gun Sterlingworth. I have only pulled the trigger on that gun one time and it resulted in a nice cock grouse- so I am 100% with that gun.
So, if I get to go, I would be happy to help out in any way possible. It is only about a 3 hr drive for me.

Daryl Corona 03-28-2013 06:04 AM

Harold;
Please do consider coming. None of us are competitive shooters but we know how to have a good time. Nobody cares about our scores but at at least you'll get to spend some quality time with Mr. Anderson.

Chuck Bishop 03-28-2013 06:29 AM

There is a rumor going around that Mr. Anderson is sponsoring a side event called the Great Motel Hallway Chair Race. Word is he's taking on all comers who want to claim his title:rotf: There might be a Calcutta involved. I'll buy COB.

Any truth to this rumor Mr. Anderson???

Tony Ambrose 03-28-2013 07:38 AM

Harold - put that little pin gun away and never shoot it again! You'll always be able to take her out and note that "you've never missed a bird with her"..........and not cause Ansley to roll over in his grave!

Rich Anderson 03-28-2013 07:59 AM

Harold it's so close there would be no reason not to come. As Daryl said we arn't competitive shoots just out for a good time. There will be lots of guns to drool over and you will be able to meet some of the people you talk to hear.

Chuck there will be qualifying races at the Southern. Please send your entry fee $5 to me to reserve your pit space:rotf:

Harold talk about not competitive, most of the time we never take a score sheet with us (just another thing to carry :rotf:) Wish I could come this year but I'll be there next year for sure.

Fred Preston 03-28-2013 07:57 PM

I'll do what I can to make this one.

Rich Anderson 03-28-2013 08:01 PM

Thanks Fred. This is my replacement shoot for the U.P. being moved.
