The Vintagers event at HHHSC is coming up in about 5 weeks. Besides me, who else is planning to attend?

Our usual crew will be attending as it is in our back yard.

Your usual crew would include DD Jr. Will he be back on the circuit then ?

He may be. He had surgery for the neuralgia on Tuesday and he is pain free again. Probably take two months to wean off the meds he was on. He was in very bad shape with excruciating pain all day every day. Heard him laugh yesterday for the first time in a long time.

Good for him. Tell him I said hey and wish him well please.

The Lefever Arms Collectors Association will be there with another display. We give our best wishes for Dave's recovery.

Does anyone know if RST will be setting up there?

Unlikely I would think as they have no product.

Forgot to mention that I'll be there. Prepare yourselves for a spirited Fox/Parker challenge. Details to follow.

Who in the PGCA will be coordinating the Parker side of the challenge??

David appreciates all the well wishes and it was killing him to miss the SxS shoot! He hopes to be able to shoot a few events in September.

The LI boys are going, at least two.

Bringing James's question regarding a vendors list TTT. I would also like to know.

I emailed the Vintagers over the weekend.
The response was that they will full tents, a list will be posted soon.

August at Steve Barnett’s told me last week that SBFG will be there.

I didn't plan on shooting but I talked to Bill, Robin Hollow will be there.

I spoke with David Cruiz and Country Pursuits will be there.

Matt: Where is the 5 bird long shot game being set up? Is it a walk event or does a trapper need to scheduled?

Hello Craig,

We're not sure exactly where the long-bird event will be, due to a lot of tree work at Hausemann's, but we'll have someone to run it. Stay tuned and I'll update further.

Maybe where the Fox Collectors have the Bo-Whoop?

With two weeks until the Vintage Gunners Cup, it is time to get that golf cart reservation. We have heard some people have had an issue contacting Empire Golf Carts. Can we get a report on the first two days of the Vintage Cup shoot?

Too busy shooting to update about anything else.

I was glad to hear that Ken got to shoot the Optimus. He said he shot it well! I like it!

Brian, Ken's Optimus is a gorgeous gun thanks to your and Ken's efforts, and others too compared to what it looked like 4 years ago.

You did a fantastic job.

That was a good squad and great day. Sara shot well again Saturday in the main event and was the Runner-Up among the Lady shooters.

I think Ken became another advocate of the 19 grains of Red Dot pushing 1 1/8 ounce of shot in the Short Ten. He was having a ball.

Is Ken's Optimus the one that Bill Wise brought home from England? I hope I have my details right.

Any news were the VC will be held next year?

From my understanding there was a 3 year agreement to have it at Ernies.
Due to Covid, this would be the third year, but second event. So I would guess it will be there again next year.
