Recieved my W C Scott today. Its built like a tank. Each barrel looks to be 2" across the breach. Here are some pics. as promissed. Also you will find some of a 72 cal double rifle gust for kicks and giggles.

Very nice. WC Scott build some superb guns for the money.

Yea I was hooked on this gun for about a year before finally pulling the trigger.

KCordell 03-12-2013 09:29 PM

Wow, fine looking sxs! I can see why you were hooked. Engraving looks superb.

Is the 2x rifle a kodiac? Love to see reports on how it shoots. What charge is recommended for it to regulate?

wayne goerres 03-12-2013 10:15 PM

From what I have read on them they take 110 to 130gr to regulate. Pedersoli recomended charge is 90gr. I havnt fired the gun yet so it will be interesting. Hope it dosn't hurt much.

Very nice guns, Wayne. I have owned one Pedersoli rifle and would not hesitate to buy another. You will enjoy yours. Have fun with the Scott, especially since it is a 10

You have a superb "duckbill" Scott there. Treat her gently, and please don't try to "restore" it.
BTW... it should have Scott's patented gas escape channels in the standing breech.

wayne goerres 03-13-2013 08:47 AM

What dose the term duck bill refure to. I have never herd of it. The gun dose not need restored just shot.

Bruce Bruner 03-13-2013 09:02 AM

Wayne, Look at your third photo for a moment. Keep looking...what do you see? I can see the outline of a "duckbill".
Nice gun!

wayne goerres 03-13-2013 10:27 AM

Now I feel stupid. There is a hole duck head there.
