Bill, What grade is that you are looking for?
Richard, it's a standard DHE, part of an identical 3 gun consecutive set. My friends bought 1758 and 1759 and I delayed my purchase of 1757 until it was sold. I would like to find it and try to purchase it.

I know this is old news, but I found the gun in an internet auction and purchased it.

Bill with a nose like yours you would make a hell of a bird dog. One of the best at finding dead birds I ever had the pleasure of hunting with was found at the dog pound. Where did you come from?
My nose originated in the Northeast Pennsylvania hard coal and pigeon shooting region, Luzerne County and surrounding areas made famous by the Molly Maguires, a violent pro labor organization that survived into the twentieth century. My interest in these shotguns was a result of my grandfather's (1856-1929) participation in the pigeon shooting culture of the area. He hosted a pigeon ring in the rear of his saloon on Pine Street, Hazleton, Pennsylvania for many years.

Grandfather or Great Grandfather?
Grandfather. He was born in 1856, my father was born in 1903, I was born in 1945. Probably the most separated of generations in history.
