Just an old shooter.

That's a very nice DHE Craig! I love those straight grip guns. Did you buy it at Addieville last weekend?
I really find the extra wide border at the rear of the frame and around the sides of the frame a bit unusual. It almost looks as if it may have been prepped for Grade 4 engraving and then engraved to the Grade 3 standard. Lucky You!! |
Nice DHE, Craig, but we thought you were looking for a Damascus gun.

Nice gun Craig!

That is the perfect gun IMO. Thank you for the pics PML |
I was/am looking for a damascus gun but the straight grip and original untouched condition made me pull the trigger--it is not a high condition gun lots of blue wear etc. but was very well taken care of---no rust, great barrels and excellent mechanical condition--- and it has four ducks instead of pheasants on the trigger plate :)-Dean you have a great eye for engraving----the DHE engraving is not as deeply cut as my CHE but they appear to be done by the same hand to my eye and yes the border is wider than most. I did not buy it at Addieville-----the Parkers you guys displayed at Addieville were a treat for me to see---Thanks again

Great gun Craig. A fellow just can't have too many straight grip D's.:) Can we see a picture of the floor plate?

Larry: Here is a picture of the trigger plate. Craig

I'll have to check Jessie Bishop's little 28 ga. DHE, 149020, and compare engraving.

Awwwwww God, no!!!! A dark day in Mudville, indeed. He's fallen off the wagon, yet again.
Plunk/Frank: You are his sponsors....time to grab the reins, here!!:crying: C----Suggest you attend those bi-weekly meetings in the basement of The Church of Ansley H. . They will get you back on the righteous path to Foxdom. First Damascus....then shrimp cocktail....now this. No doubt, another insidious ploy (a la Harlen caper) from those "devils" on Cherry St.!!!! I can see the smirks on Romig/Frey/Suponski and Purtill's visage, all the way from Manchester!! TOOL |
