Rare as hen's teeth Fox
Serial Number 367394. 32" (full/mod) Sterlingworth 16 Gauge extractor gun in route to Pa for Dan Rossiter to do the once over on. Not the best of shape, but so unique I pulled the trigger. Once Dan receives it will be collectively figure out the proper plan of attack. Here's a couple pictures:

Tom: Is the 32 inch barrels that make it rare or the fact that it is also a 16 Ga. Very nice looking gun.Great find. Thomas

Wow! Great find. It certainly is a rare one.

I was lucky I decided to go to the skeet range last night. A friend told me he has a 32" Damascus GH with a straight grip and he also has a 28" PH 1-frame Twist with a straight grip that he thinks he might part with. And, as I was leaving another friend was coming in and stopped me to say he has a friend who has a "nice" Parker he just inherited that he doesn't want

And your point is? Make a deal on all three then tell Kathy later. She'll understand.:rotf:

One more picture:
http://pic100.picturetrail.com/VOL59.../403146640.jpg PS. Gun arrived in Pa. Weight 6 lb 13 oz. Full/mod, perfect bores and tight. Has a cut stock and a poorly added incorrect type recoil pad added. Needs to have the barreled reblacked big time per Dan. He believes it will be flat amazing to shoot as those barrels go on forever. |
Sure you could reblack the barrels, but they look pretty nice to me. If you do reblack have the right guy do it who can match the old color/technique.
