Every few years we go through this, but it never gets any easier. Oddly, the last two were Linda's Springers. I was only the stepdad. Our sympathy for you.

Larry and Deb,
You know how I feel about dogs, labs in particular, but my heart goes out to you and my sincerest condolences. We shall have a toast and a moment of silence during the Hausmann weekend to Miss Brooke, my Parker1 and whomever has let their dog go on to the happy hunting grounds. We can all share our most memorable stories about hunting with them.
Daryl

Larry dogs are with us for such a short time but the joy they bring will always be remembered long after they are gone. My sympathy goes out to you and Deb. Just remember the joy that she brought to you....

People are born so that they can learn how to live a good life. If people are wise they learn to love unconditionally. Dogs are born loving unconditionally and live a good life from their first day. They don't have to stay on Earth as long.

If there are no dogs in Heaven I want to go where they go...

Larry, Being dog lovers ourselves Sandy and I feel your sadness. Forever remember the magic moments you had with her at home and in the field and she'll always be with you in your heart. Our sincerest condolences.
