What, no lot numbers? :duck:

Robin Lewis 10-07-2009 10:03 AM

If you have the catalog, the prices I posted follow the lot numbers in order - first to last. It should be easy to follow. If you don't have the catalog, lot numbers don't mean much.:duck:

Thanks Robin.

Thanks for the info Robin. It would seem either the market is very soft or Julia really overestimated some of these guns. I did not check them all but the first ten items failed to reach even the low estimate by approximately $160,000.00. The one gun that jumps right out at me is the CHE 20 that you list as sold for $65K. I am guessing you meant $6.5K. It's a nice gun but with a pinned wrist and the wood and barrels redone I don't believe someone would pay $65K plus commission.

I wonder how many of those guns made their reserve...

Time to re-value the asset side of the balance sheet Eric:shock:

I noticed the same thing even before the Parkers came up on the block, minimums were not met on many of the guns.

Sorry about the type-O, I make no guarantee for accuracy -It has been said that you get what you pay for and you can guess how much I was paid to enter all that!

Well - if it's any consolation - I make a motion that we double your salary, Robin.. :)

Hang on.. Let me get out my abacus.....

OK...

Two.....

Times.....

Zero....

Equals...????

Hang on - my abacus is busted....

:)

Actually - and seriously - I really appreciate your posting that information. While I tried to attend the auction as I wanted to bid on a few of the Parkers, I got called away to sponsor a shoot yesterday.

Anyway - Thanks Robin!
